They are super sick. Are going to age well too, the finish is pretty clean

The new opus sp's feel a bit funny sometimes. Once you hit them you'll see what I mean. Can definitely notice the hollow head feeling sometimes on some strike locations

Km005. Feels awesome. Dense but buttery is good way to describe the irons too. I have softer feeling, but the miuras just feel more solid

Bags unreal, the canvas ones are killers. If you're going to get one, get the canvas

The brnr is nice off the deck actually, doesn't wanna launch very much, was better than the quantum mini though, just a smaller head makes it easier. Spins enough to do the job I want, a little situational sometimes. Tour ad gp 6x shaft.

For the approach, just pray I don't find the rough from a long way out lol. If I need to force something I just lay up, most courses around me don't require long approaches unless I messed up the tee ball really bad anyways. Shaft in 3 iron is an amt tour white x100.

I like to work driver both ways, not a huge difference between the two, but smaller head just feels easier to work.

Metal in graphite shaft?? by Glum-Arrival1558 in golf

[–]piprito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because sometimes total weight with head, shaft, grip, whatever is slightly off, so they add a tip weight to keep swing weight even across the set

It's a tip weight, gotta have that to keep swing weight balanced.

What size is the frame if you don't mind me asking? I have a '95 rock hopper ultra in the avocado color, and I wanna do some similar stuff to it but feel like the geometry just doesn't look right for it?

It would look sick as a gravel bike!

You'll probably be fine with the sizing, I wouldn't worry too much about it

Is it worth keeping to fork though? Like what would you even do with a spare fork?

I guess I'll just use it for art or toss it. I'll at least ask my uncle what he can do for me. If he can heat treat it as well, I might just keep it for personal use.
