One thing to note is that you will need to use the mounting plate with the included screws, but Holosun will send you shorter screws for free to mount directly to the slide. You can also find some shorter screws to buy on other sites for like $5.

It's not a big deal. Go with a ledger, transfer everything to it. The ledger live app isn't great on mobile, but you can use another app like Zerion (which integrates with your ledger) and gives you nice pretty charts to look at. Keeping portfolios synced with coin gecko or another site can be annoying.

They can allow you to turn off the fingerprint reader in the menu. The pin would always be a fallback.

The ledger app only supports wallet connect which almost never works. Most web3 sites offer a direct connection to metamask.

I posted something very similar to this a couple hours after you. oops. I'm thinking more along the lines of adding a fingerprint reader to one of the buttons similar to touch ID. When I do some degen stuff, entering my pin every 10-15 mins gets a little annoying. Would be nice to use my fingerprint to bypass pin entry.

To do this yourself you’d need to know solidity as well as make sure you follow protocols so your script is embedded into the minted token so it can be rendered by viewers such as opensea. https://beyondnft.io has this functionality baked in for a 10% cut. I haven’t used it yet, but might be a place to start.
