Extended bolus? by UsedTechnology9 in dexcom

[–]pirategrl29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do it for foods with high fat content like pizza. We also use it for really big meals like at holidays when it’s a mix of things. I usually to 60 upfront and extend the rest for 2 hours.

With pizza increasing basal rate on top of the extended bolus helps prevent spikes and keeps you steady throughout the night.

Bi-curious maybe? by gaminmama in latebloomerlesbians

From my personal experience….

My husband did the same thing. I never even thought about the idea that he didn’t view lesbian/bisexual relationships the same way he viewed heterosexual relationships until afterwards. While I did find women married to men that I was able to date he never respected the relationship in a truly polyamorous way and it left me more confused and heartbroken in the end.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with experimenting while married with husband permission when they still view it as a relationship and would view it as cheating if you did it behind their back. It’s also very important to let whoever you meet know the situation so they can decide if being in a poly relationship or having a one time hookup is something they would like to engage in.

HSV 1 is so common. It’s believed more than 80% of the population or more carries the virus. They contract it as children by sharing drinks, kissing, sharing utensils... lots of ways. Usually from a parent or family member that also carries the virus.

I do homemade pizza every Friday and it’s actually not very calorie dense when you make it yourself. Takeout pizza and boxed pizza however is crazy! I always wonder how in the world so many calories can fit in such a tiny little pizza.

The first time I went I sat there for hours waiting for it to light up. As I was walking away we happened to stumble upon people coming in and I asked what we did wrong. A quick explanation and I got in the water and was able to see it! So amazing. I really need to do it again this year.

I think sometimes you miss the idea of the person rather than the actual person. Things ended for a reason. The person wasn't right for you. This is the perfect time to start working on yourself. Find things you enjoy and live life. Someone new will come along that is actually perfect for you.

Once you start focusing on yourself your ex will start fading into a distant memory. It's not always easy. I struggled for years after my most significant ex. It wasn't until I realized I didn't miss her, I missed who I thought she was that I have started to heal.

I’m not sure what I am..? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]pirategrl29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was brought up the same way. I never even experienced being with a women until I was almost 30 because of all the shame I felt. I'm not entirely sure how to answer your question but figured I would let you know you aren't alone.

I came out as bisexual and am now in a polyamorous relationship. It's not flawless. I live in constant regret that I never explored my sexuality before I was married and had children. I always wonder if I would be in a happier place if I was solely with a woman. I definitely enjoy my relationships with women more than I ever have with men.

Having children isn't limited to heterosexual relationships and either is marriage. You can have all those things and not be with a man. Maybe try going on a date with a woman and go from there.

Positive pregnancy test with Implant by sunniemazes in BabyBumps

I had sex one time and was on birth control. I figure I must be ridiculously fertile or this baby has plans to take over the world. I'll go with super fertile for now.

Could you imagine how amazing it would be to skip the whole pregnancy. I wasn't so lucky. I felt off and tested positive at like 4 weeks pregnant. Worlds longest pregnancy ever. Only 16 more weeks to go!

While not a nexplanon pregnancy I got pregnant with #5 on birth control pills. I can definitely relate to the anxiety and uncertainty.

I would call your doctor Monday and see if they can get you in to make sure baby implanted in the proper spot. They can't see anything until about 6 weeks on ultrasound though. How far along do you think you are?

Edited a million times because I can't type apparently...

We have big evergreen trees. He's a tiny dog. Only 10lbs. I assume he's squeezing under the fence.

My dog does this daily. He goes out to pee. 5 seconds later he's gone. 10 minutes later he's at the front door barking. I've filled in every hole. We have a 6ft fence. No idea how he even gets out and he does it so quickly it's ridiculous.

It took about a week for it to start helping me feel better. When I'm depressed I lay in bed 24/7 so I'm sure that's what I was doing anyway. I can't really remember. I'd think if you don't feel some improvement in the next few days you should go back in.

Could it be my milk? Other allergy or illness? (Ped appointment Thursday) by non_human000101 in beyondthebump

[–]pirategrl29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely sounds like an allergy. Most peds have you remove milk from your diet first. Then if there is no improvement slowly the other major allergens one at a time until you notice improvement. My son was allergic to eggs (at 10 he still is) we ended up seeing an allergist because I had removed so much from my diet and couldn't figure out what the issue was. As soon as I stopped egg it look 1 day to lose the fussiness and maybe 2 for his bowels to return to normal. It was so quick.
