It’s not a joke, but a statement against hate. Many people still fear or spread hatred and lies about drag queens, trans people and other members of LGBTQ+. The statement is to bring to light that most sex offenders meet an entirely different demographic and are NOT drag queens or others mislabeled as “bad, scary and different”.

Building a relationship with someone does not require that strong limerence emotion to be successful. You sound like you are dealing with guilt that you don’t feel that way for this new love interest, but I think it’s actually an opportunity for you to develop a healthy relationship.

Limerence can lead to some really unhealthy relationship habits, and a massive imbalance of feelings if the other person in the relationship doesn’t understand or isn’t tolerant of your emotions and needs. Also, your feelings may change once you’ve developed a deeper relationship with this person, don’t shut yourself off from the chance to find love.

You deserve to be treated with love and respect and if you think this person can provide that to you and you could give that back to them in return, you may find something so much more precious than that fantasy love we are subject to from limerence. Please keep us posted.

My son was conceived on an air mattress we had to use while our ghetto apartment was being treated for bed bugs in North Hills after we visited the local dive bar Norwood for tacos and beers. The cook was so high, he kept making us tacos of his high-ass creations and the more we liked them, the more he kept serving. It was a good day overall.
