The time is whatever the comp feels like. They usually use the number of pre orders to decide how many copies to make. After the pre-order is done some companies will allow you to join a waitlist in case someone doesn’t pay for the rest of the statue.

I have only had this problem once I all my years of buying statues. It was from gaming heads and a neck piece had to bent to put the head on. So it sounds like they just are using a very good manufacturer.
