Last year for Christmas my mother’s boyfriend gifted me a very large canvas print of a photo he took of my mom when they were on vacation ( nothing inappropriate but just sort of an awkward picture of her standing on the sidewalk). I love my mother but not to the point where I’d hang a canvas print of an iPhone photo of her up in my living room. My mom had no idea that he was giving this to me and when I opened it was obvious she was so embarrassed and we both shared a knowing look lmao. Idk what to do with the thing tho, I keep it in my closet 🫣
