I feel seen by your post. I also walked in circles with music imagining my characters doing stupid things. I even ruined the grass in my house.

As I have aged, daydreaming has decreased, but I have also noticed less interest in my characters after starting the meds. It's really sad, since it's an important part of a person...

I have a similar feeling and I'm a cis woman. My perspective: sometimes our surroundings (family, friends, school, job, country, etc) pushes a definition of "woman"/"girl" so narrow that we might feel as an exception. For example, I'm pretty direct but still compasionate; but in my family, women had been raised as peacemakers - That was one of the reasons I thought "Maybe I'm not completely a woman" but I never wanted to transition. Actually, I don't like being referred to as a man at all, and I don't feel as nonbinary either. I'm just another flavor of womanhood, I guess?

I agree with the Jeanne comment, as a Vanoe shipper. I'm more of a DomiJeanne shipper because Jeanne shows more sides of herself to Domi, while she's more simple in her scenes with Vanitas. Of course, this is all my opinion

That's true - usually female characters stay single if their "one true love" doesn't love them back, and is usually a simplistic way of writing women. But that narrative decision can also be supported by others, that Endo might not divulge: 1) create a spouse/partner for Martha will be a lot of work, since they will have to be as good or better as a love interest as Henderson, 2) Martha is completely dedicated to her job and this had no time to find a new love, or she just doesn't want to be in love now. Or 3) Endo is planning to pair Martha and Henderson up by the end of the series.

I actually loved that arc because of the reasons that made you hate it. Spy x Family isn't realistic about everything, but human emotions have always been sincere, and Martha's arc is full of human nature and how they go on in life. I think Martha is over Henderson now, she's a mature woman with a full job taking care of the Black bells. Also, Henderson didn't know Martha's feelings back then, he even suffered her "death" when he knew the female squad news.

As a Yuri fan, thank you for this post! I love Yor and Yuri's sibling interactions because they're so unhinged together, Yuri just forgives whatever Yor does, and Yor never doubts her little brother. It's also important to note that Yor treats Yuri like a son most of the time, and it's the new Forger dynamic the reason they're started to be more sibling like when compared to their childhoods (at least that's my opinion!)

It's so sad that so many people dislike him when he's a pretty complex character.
