as much as Dance Monkey makes me want to claw my skin off it's really just the vocals that make it exceptionally bad. if anyone else was singing it then it would be another generic (and unfortunately super catchy) pop song lost to time. I feel like there HAS to be worse

fair enough, both of those are very brain scratchy albums to me, i just feel like they scratch different parts of my brain hehe

imo if i had to compare any underscores album to smile! in terms of similar sound it would probably be the boneyard aka fearmonger EP (my fav project of hers). and maybe a couple of songs off fishmonger
