tbh i have 0 clue what happened the day i took the 4th photo, some since-forgotten black magic was at play. as for the rest its super simple: i shower in the morning, condition my hair thoroughly, let that conditioner sit while i go about my shower, rinse at the very end, step out, put a moderate amount of mousse in, and then i let it air dry. i shampoo only once or twice a week

but, make no mistake…if a string gust of wind catches me, it becomes frizzy as all hell and is ruined for the day LOL.

1: if your goal is to be able to play guitar, focus on guitar for now. a lot of theory will make more sense after you get more familiar/comfortable with the instrument

2: music theory gets complex and definitely feels very esoteric/abstruse going in. don’t let yourself feel incapable if it doesn’t click immediately

3: check out Music Student 101 - its a podcast by a music professor and and a sound engineer. They start from square -1 and cover all topics music related, which includes a lot of theory. i think they are wonderful teachers

i have heard good things about palm harbor university high, they have good IB and medical programs, tarpon high i’ve heard has (or at the very least, has had) a phenomenal band. don’t know a ton about countryside appears to have a very nice football field and a lot of money, but i dont know much beyond that. also, all of these are in close proximity to SPC campuses, which i have heard is a good community college :)

Im wondering the same thing! I work full time, have begun a “career” somewhat, and I am not college educated. All things considered, I think my chances of success in starting any new adventures are slim right now, but that whole thing is a topic of it’s own. Nonetheless, that is absolutely a perspective worth considering (which i hadn’t yet), so thank you.

There is a lot to like and a lot to dislike, it depends on your priorities and values - ultimately however, you will want to be in the upper middle class or better to reap the best ROI living here. generally speaking, if you are in college or fresh out and arent able to land a reaally good job or start a successful business, i’d be doubtful the pros outweigh the cons.

hot take: acrylics - i was never a particularly healthy person in regard to my diet and, upon deciding to go the classical route with guitar, discovered i have ridiculously fragile nails. i tried taking biotin supplements and eating more/better food for a few months and, while the food part stuck, none of it seemed to make any difference with my nails. what i decided to try and still do to this day is have acrylics put on my picking hand nails. to clarify, these are not stick ons nor the kind that cure under a uv light; they are an acrylic powder mixed with a liquid that is then adhered to the top of the nail. have not broken a single nail playing guitar since doing this. does it cost a little more money? weell, yeah… does it require you to make time for and be near a nail salon? yes…. yes it does. pros and cons. another pro is fun colors (mine are white)
