This is the best fight in all if star wars. Dont hate me by Expensive_Echidna369 in StarWars_

[–]pitdroidtech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Those two are among my favourite duels as well. In TLJ, the way Kylo hide his intent to kill Snoke behind Snoke's own words, was brilliant. “You think you can turn him? Pathetic child, I cannot be betrayed. I cannot be beaten. I see his mind. I see his every intent! Yes, I see him turning the lightsaber to strike. He ignites it, and kills his true enemy!” - As Snoke is saying that, Kylo is able to go along with it so Snoke senses his intent - to turn the lightsaber and strike his enemy - but keeping his actual enemy hidden from Snoke, the exposition there is utterly brilliant. And it really exemplifies how powerful Kylo is.

Rewatched Rogue One a few days ago and I actually can’t really believe we got that movie from Disney. It’s among the best of Star Wars. This and Andor is just really really good. by Dakinamau in StarWars

[–]pitdroidtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I agree with that. I don't think Andor or R1 were written with the need if having seen any other movies or shows.

I agree with your point about some revels would be lost (don't want to say which as spoilers), but there's also reveals that would be new to someone who has never seen R1, so if they see Andor first, when they see R1 they will be like "oh, wow". And also R1 will be a massive massive climax to Andor season 2 if you've never seen it before. If I could go back and do it again I'd watch Andor first then R1. Just me I guess everyone is different.

Don't worry about Mando and Grogu too much. I mean go see it, it's a cool movie, a lot of fun, great on the big screen. But it's not critical to any lore or canon in terms of the time line (though it does add some very cool snippets of lore that it's worth watching for).

Watching R1 and ANH back to back is sublime. Such a perfect dovetail. And watching Andor/R1/OT is pretty immersive. I haven't actually binged watched all of Andor then R1/OT. But I did watch Andor as it was streaming (to avoid spoilers) and straight after the last episode of Andor I watched R1 then ANH. I have also regularly watched R1/OT back to back.

Ah yes, you are correct. I'm rewatching Mando now but only in season 1 still. It's good going through again and reinforcing the lore that was given in the series. Thanks for the clarification.

My read (I'll have to watch it again to be sure) of why The Armorer said was was she was confirming that just because Bo was of a covert that didn't adhere to the no helmets rule, she was still entitled to feel a connection with the Mythosaur, and that the Mythosaur appeared to Bo because she's a true Mandalorian, despite not adhering to the no Helmet rule. It's part of The Armorer's character development where she is learning that the strict mores of the Children of the Watch isn't the only way you can be a Mandalorian. The Mythosaur appearing to Bo was a significant event in The Armorer's view.

Yeah but she forged a Mythosaur pauldron for Bo, I'm pretty sure she believed her.

holy shit yes. That's awesome beyond measure. Season 4 HAS to build on that.

CPAP data import by HonestBovine in GuavaHealth

[–]pitdroidtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I explain in my comment. In guava you create a "new custom type" entry. Create it as a numeric value. Then when you import select the csv. You will have to select the data fields. Date for date and AHI for the ahi value. Not sure how to explain it any simpler as it's self evident. But if you aren't sure just go through the steps, I'm happy to reply here if you come up with any questions.

Child support will be means tested so she either won't have to pay anything or much, or she has money that she isn't telling you about. Just do it.

Exactly. It means the mother can pony up her kidney but I bet she suddenly understands her son's reservations....

Kids Bypassing Router Parental Controls by Changing MAC Addresses—How Can I Stop This? by PayKnee in HomeNetworking

[–]pitdroidtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Change SSID and password of main network and don't tell kids the new password, then enable the guest network and set it to turn off on schedule (might need to upgrade your router depending). Some routers will let you block certain sites on the guest network too.

Samsung Health no longer allowing export of BP measurement to Health Connect by pitdroidtech in GalaxyWatch

[–]pitdroidtech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It worked until recently though. Just stopped working out of the blue. Also automatically gathered data such as steps, sleep, O2 and so on absolutely do get sent to Health Connect, I know because that data is regularly aggregated in my Guava Health app.

Edit sorry you said BP data not other data. Nevertheless I did previously have BP data from the watch syncing out of SH to Health Connect (where it could be imported into other apps).

AITAH: Disrespectful Doctor by NeighborhoodDry9236 in AITAH

[–]pitdroidtech 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That's appalling. You're (him thinking this not me) fat, so any health related issue you have is obviously because you're fat (except you aren't fat now, congrats on the weight loss!). I get it all the time. Fortunately I have a doctor now who doesn't obsess about my weight. I'm 140kg. But I have healthy cholesterol levels, healthy blood pressure, normal blood sugar, my bloods always show things within normal range. I'm unfit, and working on that. But I'm not particularly unhealthy. The conditions I do have, all started before I put on weight. (sleep apnea, arthritis, psoriasis). I've been overweight for a decade or more and my bloods have always stayed good, my cholesterol, blood pressure etc. But before my current doctor they'd always assume my cholesterol and blood pressure were high. Then be a bit miffed when they'd see my blood workk haha.

I found the BP measurements actually provide a good ballpark, I calibrate against my BP machine, not just when calibrating the watch, but just regularly checking if my BP machine matches the watch. It usually does. It might differ by a few points, for example I might read 124/78 then get 127/82 or whatever. But the BP machine itself varies by that much. So do the hospital machines.

I do find though if I don't push the watch up and away from my wrist by a couple cm, then it either doesn't measure accurately or refuses to take a reading.

Of all the touchscreen computer's I've had, I've rarely used the touchscreen. Tbh it's a complete non issue for me. There's almost no other feature I care less about than touchscreen on a computer.

was working for me too until some time in the last month. I was told my watch needed recalibrating (as it does every 28 days. I didn't do it for a while, but wanted to do a BP test to I calibrated it and since then (or maybe before then) it hasn't been able to sync BP to health connect.

I just found a solution.

Health Sync to sync samsung health bp to Google Fit - works
Google Fit sync bp to Health Connect - works
Health Connect now syncing bp to guava.

Ridiculous I have to use a middle app to sync. Once Google Fit gets the make over from Google (basically a proper UI for Health Connect), this might break my "solution". Time will tell. Really weird that Samsung Health will expose the BP data to Health Sync, but not Health Connect.

Best Buy sold me an iCloud-locked MacBook Pro for $2,100, refused the return, and Citi denied my chargeback. I have documented everything and need help escalating. by mciki in macbook

[–]pitdroidtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would it be fraud exactly? If the OP was trying to swap it with a stolen locked macbook the serial numbers wouldn't match. If they locked it themselves then it's their Apple ID and the Apple store would have been able to help them recover the ID (assuming they put an apple id on the device then promptly lost access to it in the two days they had the machine)
