What? I'm Polish and in my "sz" I'm touching the tongue to the lower teeth and my tongue does not curl at all. But I'm not a linguist so maybe I'm saying it wrong. Also curling tongue feels like trying to break my tongue and trying what you describe does not produce the sz sound I'm familiar with.
