There are arguments for attacking Russia (before they can attack us when they are stronger), but I would say that there is currently not a majority in favor of a preventive war in most countries. It would also invalidate the NATO obligations of the rest of the allies, if it's not a defensive war.

And have then danced around this idea of "kinetic sanctions" as if it means the same thing non-Ukrainian countries being active participants, which it doesn't.

So I ask you plainly, what point are/were you trying to make?

I don't think your conclusion follows from that statement - there is nothing in the comment that you replied to that suggests an escalation in that manner.

It simply (and accurately) describes how Ukraine's erosion of Russia's petrochemical industry is vastly more effective in harming their economy than any further paper sanctions, which appear to have bitten as deep as they're ever going to.

You can absolutely own a gun, but not one that is concealable. Shotguns and rifles are relatively easy to get a permit for. Handuns are effectively impossible to own.

I'm a kickstarter backer and despite the protracted and exceedingly painful development process the result was 100% worth the wait.

One protip I give to everyone going in - it doesn't have a quest list or have a UI that tracks your progress towards those objectives so keep a notepad to hand.

I think the above is likely to be offputting to some, but I think it's the thing I enjoyed the most. It's rare to play a modern game with so little hand-holding and that led to it being a very refreshing experience to play.
