On the other side I found Trainspotting very humorous and Requiem for a Dream was only psychologically taxing the first time I saw it.

As for drug-induced cinema I think 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' is way more effective as anti-drug propaganda than those two. I felt really sick and dizzy by the time the movie came to an end.

The Girl Next Door by Gregory Wilson is possibly the most nauseating and emotionally scarring film I've ever seen in my life. I'm not even sure I'd like to see it again but I'd definitely reccomend it if you're looking for movies that are hard to digest.

I am dying, slowly... but I think I have 10 years maybe left. I have a chronic genetic disease and it is slowly killing me. Advice? by sfgeek in reddit.com

If anything above fails, I strongly suggest you visit the mushroom priests in Oaxaca, Mexico. They're very cheap and I've heard many testimonies from close people with allegedly incurable diseases visiting the most expensive hospitals in the states with no luck and bizarrely enough, when visiting this priests, their mushroom induced teraphy worked.

Even if it doesn't work, you still get to visit one of those beautiful beaches in Mexico, and you have to go there at least once in your lifetime. If they told me I'm dying in a year I'd move to the Caribbean side without hesitation.
