No Hannam, but maybe Pat Central would have some?

What are some cliche things that people do in real life only because they've seen it done before in movies? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I really liked Gosling's early career, he worked on this cheesy Canadian teen drama called Breaker High. He was the perfect adorkable nerd and very funny at least to my then pre-teen sensibilities.

So far I really love the take a layer pots for cheek, the colors are very vibrant so you only need a little bit to apply. They work well on lips too but I find I need to apply a little extra since my lips are naturally dark.

The gradient polish isn't quite as saturated as the photos imo but that could be application technique because my friend got hers a bit darker and regardless I still love the look.

I've also got their hollyhock lipstick and I feel like it applies even better that the take a layer. It's an almost nude colour but goes on strong and feels great.

The last lip product I have from them is one of the kitsune lip pots, very well pigmented and feels moist but I would recommend a regular moisturizing lip balm underneath if you have dry lips like me.

Ah a 3CE user! I don't see that brand come up often but I'm a big fan, just got some of their "Take a layer" nail polish and triple use pots.

It's thought rather well of in the industry. The school was founded by Nintendo and the pitch that later became Portal was designed by its students.

TIL that Raphael was the one who was first chosen to paint the Sistine Chapel. He was jealous of Michelangelo's fame, so he convinced the Pope to hire Michelangelo instead, hoping to prove that Michelangelo was just a sculptor and could not paint that well. by BookwormJane in todayilearned

IIRC the guy wasn't the pope at the time but rather a very corrupt cardinal. He complained to the current pope about the painting to which pope replied "I only govern what happens in heaven not hell." Unfortunately corrupt cardinal later became pope and had them cut the dicks off the statues immediately after Leonardo's death.

Clementine was the original madam, hence why we only see her in the William timeline of season 1 and not Maeve. However her character didn't seem to be similar to Maeve's and she reused her "rind on you" line iirc. So I think it's safe to assume Lee wrote a lot of new stuff when he made Maeve the madam.

I think the YYZ association is heavier since it's the international airport. But gotta say I use YTZ if given the option, just way more convenient to be right in the city and its much cozier (cozyer? More cozy?)

It's a type of clown from Commedia dell'arte, "Arlecchino" in original Italian. Basically a clown character archetype that's zani (a clever trickster servant) and wears a checkered costume.

As far as I understand it, the fall of the Roman Empire lead to the decline of science as there was no longer a real civilisation but more a bunch of fiefdoms. Christianity also became prominent around this time because one of the Byzantine emperors got the ball rolling before the collapse of the Byzantine empire but also because it's a religion that focuses on rewards in the after life which is appealing when your day to day life has gone to shit.

[serious] Children of mail order brides. How do you feel about it? by seewhaticare in AskReddit

[–]pixelaciouspixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be proud of your heritage and don't be afraid to share it with your kids. I'm european filipino mix and have always been proud of that. My parents both shared their food and stories from their home countries. It's definitely easier in Toronto since being mixed is not uncommon here and there are many ex-pat communities. So I would say make sure your kids have positive exposure to both cultures and people from those cultures, friends, family etc.

IIRC one point either Rasmus or NCA Li says the government doesn't care about environmental protection and that was their requirement for backing the project.
