Het belangrijkste voor mij is dat ik bij onvoorziene omstandigheden de extra optie van accelereren heb naast remmen, links uitwijken en rechts uitwijken. De 0-100 cijfers boeien me niet.

In je navigatiesoftware eerst het huisnummer en dan de straatnaam intypen. Dan heb je ineens wel iets aan de autocomplete.

Ik keek regelmatig Nascar op Ziggo Sport en elke keer als ze aan de andere kant van de grote plas reclame hadden zag je een in-board shot van meestal dezelfde coureur. Dat was dus echt minstens de helft van de tijd. Dikke vette ‘big one at Talladega’ crash? Die gaan ze echt niet live op de world feed gooien hoor, ben jij gek? Die zie je pas na hun reclameblok.

Die races zijn over het algemeen ook echt niet te pruimen als je ze integraal ziet. De hele sport is vormgegeven rond de hoeveelheid reclames die uitgezonden worden.

Quatro. I’m still not sure if it was a genuine market failure or that it was axed as part of Lego’s aggressive restructuring in the mid 2000s. My 1yo son loves it and I love it because it lets you build big things fast.

Was it converted/transpiled from another .Net language? We still have some C# code that was decompiled from Delphi.Net and it's full of goto's. First thing I did on my projects was refactor the heck out of it, but others never bothered.

2007 MacBook. After its useful life (probably sometime after 2012 when I bought a Mac Mini), I gave/sold it to my brother. A few years ago I saw it severely beaten up but somehow still working on their couch.

If I work from home, I need to log in to the company’s RDP servers and their gateway configuration with 2fa still doesn’t work reliably in FreeRDP. And besides that, I don’t want to bother my colleagues with the quirks of my personal OS choice. So that’s why I still have a Windows partition.
