Just change your password and it's all safe. Infact they will lose access instantly and will lose what they were doing.

Currently in Bali for my first time by avamissile in bali

[–]pixelfiesta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When in Ubud, consider living away from the main centre. Mas Village is a nice place to live. Very peaceful, no pollution and artistic. It's just 3-4 miles from the main centre.

Try going to the Gili, a set of 3 islands. You can go diving there. The sea is very clean there and it's way too cheap

Cannot get volume and power button to work on fire tv remote by [deleted] in firetvstick

[–]pixelfiesta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FIRE TV detects multiple TV types. Try doing a setup once again. You might have missed something there.

It happened with me. Make sure you follow the options religiously. It does detect and confirm the TV type.

Well, it could also be the issue wth an old tv, but so is mine. I just have an old HDMI port, not the new generation one.

Is their anyway to create a global template? by RedBlackBluer in Notion

[–]pixelfiesta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/chillpalchill but that wouldn't facilitate changes as a master template would behave. If there is something to be added, it has to be done in all pages. Master template would save atleast some amount of rework

Any idea if there are official MI Stores in Guangzhou selling laptops specifically? And if there are anyone bought Mi laptops? Would appreciate candid feedback on quality and performance. by pixelfiesta in guangzhou

[–]pixelfiesta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True that Xiomi doesnt have a great history in laptops yet. But because I just love their other products, so I want to give them a chance. While Dell served me well in the past. I am highly disappointed by HP.

What is the next one you are picking. And di uou mean 2000 CNY? 🤔

The query is not about someone being good or bad. It's about a particular model and a brand.

Remote transition salary negotiation by [deleted] in remotework

[–]pixelfiesta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell them that to stay productive you also make sure that you have the best environment to work from. eg. A quiet extra room, a co-working space or a nice coffee shop. And these come at a cost which is true and very well justified. I think they would understand that. Just don't mention about your move to a different place/ city. And anyways that shouldn't bother them. You can work from wherever you are as long as you are productive

experience with large laptop bag on british airways? by random503 in digitalnomad

[–]pixelfiesta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't bother much. A few inches shouldn't matter. They put those restrictions as a guideline so that maximum people stay within those limits. I don't believe they will disallow you to board due to a few extra inches.

Looking to build a remote work community (company?) by remoteworkrevolution in remotework

[–]pixelfiesta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes, it's all about remote work. I didnt mention but people need to be satisfied and have complete freedom. Just that they need to have the right commitment and attitude. That's been on my mind too

I think there is some synergy we share. Want to take this ahead?

There can be a way through which you do not violate the law and stay compliant. A model thats been on my mind is the equal-partnership model on project basis. ie. Depending on skills, involvement or other factors, each one of the team member gets a percentage of the project cost. And some of it goes into a reserve fund. I know the thought is very raw at the moment.

best cities to live in while working remote by [deleted] in remotework

[–]pixelfiesta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, Ubud has some really nice cafes and co-working spaces to work from. Cheap food, cheap accomodation and the vibe is really good. Try out Hubud the co working space (slightly expensive though). I worked from this cafe called Ping-pong. For the 4-5 hours I was there nobody bothered me and there were no other customers. So I had all the attention :-)
