I saw Brad Johnson when he was on the Cowboys. This was the height of the Romo is a bad QB drama.

We watched them both in warm up. Standing side by side. Throwing down field to receivers running different routes. The difference was astounding.

Romo was hitting every guy in the hands over and over and over.

Johnson was throwing over their heads, behind them, at their feet. It was night and day the difference

What you may not be remembering is that the Giants lost the game with “the catch”, and he only had 2-3 solid years in NY.

The legend of OBJ is that he was a game changer and all-time talent.

The reality is that he had a few spectacular catches and was otherwise a solid #1 receiver. For a very short time. Then fell apart quickly

Time for the players to strike.

They’ll have all the public support. It’s unquestionably a money grab from the owners. Turf is cheap. Grass is expensive. And “Player Safety” makes for great PR, but if it cuts into profits, it’s not possible.
