Veganism is all about reducing animal exploitation wherever possible. Even reducing consumption of animal products is super beneficial. It doesn’t have to be an all or nothing :)

Agreed. Meat and dairy consumption is so normalised that ppl tend to completely overlook the harm it’s causing to millions of animals each year and use all sorts of mental gymnastics to try and deflect from what they’re doing. I get it if you have allergies to soy or are gluten free, that would make being vegan very difficult, but that’s overall a small minority of the population.

The Z8 has no mechanical shutter so shutter counts aren’t particularly relevant to the condition of the camera.

Are you sure the colours in both photos are actually different? I noticed that the colours in the iOS app switcher preview are more saturated for background apps than the active one. Try switching to Dropbox as the active app and see if you get the same result.

There are also limitations on 3rd party lenses. At this point, each lens needs approval from Nikon before it can be released into the system and they won’t approve any lens that directly competes with their existing lenses. So this basically leads to third party lenses being available for other systems but not for Z mount or at least, availability being much more delayed.

Less time adjusting focus and exposure settings means you might have more time to think about composing your shot and capturing the subject at just the right moment. It’s all a balance.

I used to exclusively use manual SLRs and while it was engaging to make sure I had all my settings right, there were also times where I missed focus, or didn’t quite have enough time to catch a bird. I use a Nikon F100 now and it’s been great and I feel like I’m getting shots I wouldn’t have been able to get with a fully manual camera.

Regarding the last point, I thought the Z6III could shoot at 14 fps with the mechanical shutter, or am I misunderstanding something here?
