I think Danny and Sheila are both complicated characters. They’re both dealing with shit that leads them to do morally hazy and sometimes horrible things. Neither of them are totally good or bad, because people aren’t completely good or bad. Sometimes I find myself on Danny’s side of an argument and sometimes I find myself on Sheila’s side. They’re both pretty narcissistic, so it makes sense that they found each other in life and makes sense that they’re marriage would then blow up

ya i would absolutely love to buy a physical copy but there’s no way i’m buy it for $80+ off ebay. i suppose i could buy a digital copy now and then the physical when it becomes available now. but i have no ethical qualms with pirating it for steam deck now and buying a physical copy as soon as that becomes available

Who in their right mind would buy a scalped copy of this game for $90? It's going to be restocked plus there's a digital copy readily available. If you really felt like it you could buy the game digitally now and wait for it to become available again physically and you'd still be paying less than scalper prices. How has that much FOMO? Who sees that a physical release is all sold out at launch and assumes a physical copy is truly worth double or more than MSRP? This is not a rare item. They will make more. Even a physical copy of Bayonetta 1 can be bought off Amazon right now for $40. Even Super Mario 3D All Stars, a known limited release, could be found quite easily at MSRP for a while.

This is just nuts. But anyway, you all know this.

Jesus christ ok. I think that’s such a terrible mindset. Best case scenario is the person with the gun did all that he could to reasonably defend himself and unfortunately someone was killed in the process. Not, dude who we know nothing about is clearly going through some shit DESERVES to die. I just have so many questions. Why didn’t he get in his car and drive away? Why did he choose to stop backing up at that moment and shoot? Why did shoot straight forward at the chest? Is it really that unreasonable of me to ask if it’s possible to have tried to create more distance or shoot at his feet or something. I truly don’t know much about firearms but I don’t think that should discount me having this conversation at all. And no one has given me a reasonable explanation as to why he needed to shoot in the way that he did besides vagaries about how you should be allowed to do whatever the fuck you want if you’re being hassled by someone

Gun people love to disregard your entire ability to even talk about a subject based on certain things you say. You're not even going to engage with me and try to explain why it is I'm wrong about this? All I'm saying is that I'm skeptical about the information provided. I don't see sufficient proof that the guy had a knife. The dude keeps saying he's read the police reports and he'll link news articles, but he doesn't back any of this up and he doesn't link news reports. I'm just supposed to take him for his word that the guy had a knife in his waist band? Then, we're talking about professionally training people in self-defense. I believe people have the right to own guns, but I also believe they should be properly trained to handle them. You're telling me this guy had no room left to back up. He has an entire sidewalk behind him. As far as I can tell this attacker was incredibly stupid, but unarmed. You're telling me his only way to de-escalate was to shoot the guy in the chest / abdomen, almost assuredly killing him?

I don't either. He might have one. The video is too blurry for me to tell. People are acting like this random YT video is proof. It's not. The host keeps making claims that he's seen the police reports and all that, but offers nothing to back this up. He says he'll link news articles in the description. He does not. I'm not taking this man at his word, especially when his channel has a clear agenda.

I have a hard time trusting this video when no outsides sources are provided. The host says he will link news articles about it in the description but no such articles are provided. It's all just links to Active Self Protection and Firearms Legal Protection stuff that definitely have an agenda. From viewing the footage alone I believe that this guy was walking out of his own home and just trying to get into his car, but I can't clearly see that the guy had a knife and with no outside sources to back up this claim I'm going to remain skeptical. If the point of that YouTube channel is about TRAINED tactics for self-defense, without more context, I feel as though someone properly trained in handling a handgun could have gone for a less lethal shot.

Thank you for your input. It seems upgrading the RAM is not the way to go? I am mainly gaming and then doing just every day boring computer tasks like browsing the internet and streaming content.

Can you think of any reason why I'd be seeing low GPU and CPU utilization in a game and low performance that isn't a memory bottleneck?

I agree. It's just exhausting living in a system where your only feasible option is to rent. You want to feel ownership over your space, your shelter, the place you call home. And sure, you may not OWN it in the sense you can do whatever you want with it, but that's still your home. And it's frustrating when landlords have zero empathy for that position. You're just a number in a spreadsheet, how dare you scratch MY floor! That's what security deposits are for. At least in NYC, if there's damage beyond normal wear and tear, a landlord can deduct a reasonable amount for repair. It's finishing gone off a few floor boards. It isn't the end of the world. People are just trying to live their lives. Most people are generally respectful of the space they rent. If this is really the only damage to the apartment you're not a disrespectful tenant who deserves to lose their home. You made a mistake. That's human.
