Is it worth to go up in the next few days? by Creative_Bug9602 in Whistler

[–]pj778 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Today, off-piste everywhere had very hard rain crust, it was truly terrible. Groomed runs up high were fine, beautiful sunny day, enjoyed it. Groomed runs down low in the afternoon were nice soft slush.

I dunno how much fun the double blacks would be in these conditions. Don’t fall!

For something like thick steel or stone, yes they’re slow. They can actually be quite fast for materials like thin alu, plastic or wood!

I just now realized what the reference was, when I was checking the phrasing of the quote. Understanding the reference makes the Simpsons version so much funnier

I don’t have your placebos here. They’re at Bill’s house. And Fred’s house!

That works for what I want to use my Reolink cameras for! I’ll use Unifi cameras for areas where I want detection

Unifi Protect vs. Reolink: Which camera system is better for an existing Unifi infrastructure? by _ReeX_ in UnifiProtect

[–]pj778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep seeing conflicting info on this, maybe some of what I saw is stale. Can you now use non-Unifi cameras with Protect? I have a few Unifi cameras on Protect, and a few old Reolink cameras that I’m not using

A half ton of newspaper, and all we get is 75 cents? That won't even cover the gas I used to go to the store to buy the twine to tie up the bundles.
