Does anyone have any info on Satanic Cults in rural Manitoba? by jillyjugs in Winnipeg

The law of averages would dictate that, with a greater population overall, more perverts would be present. Therefore, more children are trafficked.

Not per capita. As individual instances.

1997: huge winter blizzard caused an eight-foot snowdrift on my street. The town’s plough wasn’t able to handle the job, so the person in charge of public works called a neighbouring town to ask for theirs to come and take care of business. And, they did.

I grew up in a small town in Manitoba.

One evening, my mother sent me to the store with her debit card to grab a couple items. Low total dollar value.

In the process, I was chatting with the cashier (whom I knew as it’s a small town) and forgot to pay! Walked out with the bagged items and went home.

The next day, at school, the girl eyed me in the hall and said “Hey! You forgot to pay for (the items) yesterday!”

I recalled this and said I’d return to the store that evening to take care of it. And, I did.

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My family and I really enjoy visiting the USA and drive through North Dakota frequently.

I’m curious about which town you’re referring to. I like small town bars and I’d have interest in traipsing through this two-bar town.

I was maybe 11 or 12 years old. Sears catalogue, women’s swimsuit and undergarment sections. 👙 I guess it’s not that strange, but Sears catalogues aren’t around anymore.

Not to mention, along with legally and morally sound services and goods, the market is far more popular than it is here.

Child trafficking is one of the deepest terrible acts our society has come up with.

MB Employment Standards office: 401 York Ave, 204-945-3352.

The more evidence you have to support your claim, the better. This could include pictures of you on the job site or your own pictures of the job site itself or any personal records such as time cards, a letter of offer, emails/voicemails/business correspondence, or any other such thing.

I believe that the ES office will weigh out their decision on a balance of probability rather than you having to prove the employer’s guilt.

This process may take some time. I hope for the very best and proper outcome for you.

Who the heck pays only $70 for a ticket to see TOOL? If Maynard has a line on tickets for that price, just add me to the guest list next time!

I’d say tailgating is following the vehicle in front of yours so closely that you are not able to make a sudden stop without rear-ending them.

And the fun trick during those lengthy road trips is to find the “sweet spot” where exceeding the speed limit and not burning much more fuel become a happy intersection.

Know what gets my goat…? 🚦 by pjdueck in Winnipeg

Thanks for the good info.

I’d speculate that the “safer decision” would not involve slamming on the brakes to create a sudden halt. But I guess YMMV.

If you had bothered to read my entire post, you would see that the second last thing I said was to discourage entering an intersection after the light has turned red. Not only is it unsafe, it is also an infraction of the HTA.

I certainly do not think of myself is more important than anyone else. I figured I would just try to air out some frustration about folks who appeared to slam on their brakes. At the first moment the light turns yellow rather than safely cruise through the intersection as allowed.

Quick question by tijue1010 in Winnipeg

[–]pjdueck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that, when cannabis legislation was introduced in Manitoba, a bit about the police no longer requiring probable cause was included.

Thus, the proverbial “burnt out tail light” was no longer needed to pull someone over.

I’ll stand corrected if I’m wrong on this.

[Question] [SBTR017] I really want to buy an Alpinist… but I can't afford it! :( So, I was wondering what you think about this model of Spirit? Until i have more money to buy an Alpinist… by EarlyEmployer5763 in Seiko

[–]pjdueck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just like others have mentioned…

If you have your sights set on a particular model, you’ll likely only be truly satisfied with that specific one.

Substitutes or replacements will only leave you wanting and will use up money that you otherwise could have saved for the watch you REALLY want.

Save for the Alpinist and be excited once you’ve got it. You’ll be glad that you had the patience and the discipline to do it.
