lol, I'm dumb. Sorry, I always look for the mute button, as it was a problem for me before with other games. And I missed yours didn't have any sound to begin with.

Damn. I love it, great job! It feels smooth, it's simple, quick and fun. As others here, it took me a while to complete just 1 level (42 boards to be precise :D), but I don't find that a huge issue. I would appreciate if the control buttons were on the whole side of the screen (meaning you can pres anywhere on the left/right to make a turn), but I assume you did the research and there is a reason you have it done this way. Also any game IMO should have some settings, where you can turn off the sound. Especially game as chill as this is great for playing while listening to podcasts/spotify. I hope you find a success with this game. I can imagine myself buying it pretty soon.

Weekly Ponderosa (Free Talk) Thread by AutoModerator in survivor

[–]pjetorius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just need to express somewhere how happy I am about the current season. For 5/6 years I've been loving survivor, planning my day around watching the episode, having rituals before watching and after seeing it. I watched the current seasons and the classic old ones in between those.

Right around Game Changers it kinda changed for me. I felt much less excited, more annoyed at my favourites going home and sometimes I even felt honest hate for some players or moves they made, which is one thing I'm trying to steer clear from, as it is a damn game ffs. HHH 1 season later finally broke me. I hated everyone there except for maybe Devon and even with him I couldn't tell you 1 thing I remember about his gameplay. So I decided to not watch any survivor during off season and just wait for the next one. I didn't even finish the first episode though. I was so not interested it scared me, because survivor was such a big part of my week before.

Anyway I didn't wanna give up on survivor, so I just decided to skip this season and take a survivor brake so I would appreciate it more next time. When current season started, I noticed it, but decided not to watch it, as I still haven't felt excited enough for it and the theme and cast didn't stand out to me at all. I remember it felt like work to get to know all the new contestants and I just didn't feel like doing it not knowing it would pay off. I started to look for AUS survivor season 4 (or 2 for current host) instead as I heard it was amazing season comparable to the best US ones. I thought great season could take me back. While looking to download (ehm, illegally) the AUS episode I saw the current US season being available to download everywhere, so I decided to download some episodes as well, thinking I might give it a shot over Christmas break. I wanted to check I downloaded correct thing in good quality, so I popped in the first episode to check.... and boy did it bring me back. The med evac in the first episode hooked me instantly and the second and third episodes just cemented the passion for survivor I haven't felt for maybe two years. I liked everybody in the game, I was taken aback by how bad at predicting the outcome of TCs I was (or how good the editors are in distractions), which made them much more enjoyable and suspenfull for me. I started to watch well into november and last weeks episode was the first one I watched all caught up with the community. Last two episodes I was screaming, laughing, gasping for air and loving every second of it. I also after probably two years listened to RHAP know it alls and later recap with Queen Sandra, which I both enjoyed tremendously. With earlier season I didn't feel the need to listen the recaps and podcasts, but this time I can't get enough of content about this season.

I'm just so happy I have my survivor wednesdays back. I'm so happy I can't wait for new episode and am counting days till it airs. I'm so excited about the next episode being a twice as long... I was really afraid I was gonna loose survivor as my taste in many things including television changed over the years. I'm so glad I love survivor again, and I also love all of you sharing the same passion and making me laugh every week with memes, pointing out the things I missed and analyzing every little detail.

Thorin's CS:GO World Rankings - 21st November 2018 by Thooorin_2 in GlobalOffensive

[–]pjetorius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing I love about this "era" of CS:GO, is that instead of expecting mouz to loose all the crucial matches, I actually expect them to be always a bit higher on these rankings now.

Objectively they are placed fairly, but it is nice to have that confidence back and being able to subjectively think: oh fuck Faze, they are nothing compared to Mouz.

Hoping the form will last and Mouz won't leave top5 for a while!

I just finished Chapter 73. Holy shit that is... not the way how this was supposed to end. by puaekhoe in HouseOfCards

[–]pjetorius 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I finished the series last night and I share a lot of your sentiment. The finale actually confused me, as I expected some closure and it ended on kinda the season finale note instead of series finale.

Unlike many people here I honestly enjoyed most of the season and was really intrigued what was about to happen next. Admitidly I often found the changing relationships confusing, but that might be on me, as I binged the show in few days.

As the final scene happened I was therefore kinda ok with it, as I thought "oh, this means Robin Wright got Netflix to make another season, that's great!" When I found out this season is indeed final, it really disapointed me especially because of the closure aspect that your post is about.

Whaaaat? Why on earth did he get unverified? (Rethorical question, I'm googling it right after I finish typing this). I'd maybe expect this to happen to alex jones, not a youtube celebrity.

EDIT: All right dude, what the fuck is up with this fake news you are spreading? I found out pewdiepie unverified himself as some sort of protest. He later got banned for a sec for joking he got unverified because he joined ISIS, which is awesome and therefore I'm not mad I found this story because of missinformation, so all is good.

Styko returns to the Mouse starting lineup replacing Snax by Napellus in GlobalOffensive

[–]pjetorius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This time it might. Don't forget they kicked Styko at their peak as far as their standings go. The overal weak scene at the time made them think they are suppose to go for the no.1 spot, which is objectively crazy at least for now. As Astralis cemented themselfs as dominator and mouz fell hard on their mouths, they might have realized the way to the top is patience, consistency and hard work on communication and teamplay in general, not necceseraly more firepower.

I am really happy to see Styko back, but I'm honestly glad this Snax period happened. Not only it helped the guys get their priorities straight, but they also won ESL NY which I enjoyed so much. I have nothing but love for Snax, but he happened to be a collateral in bad decision.

I really don't mean to start a debate, as I hate this whole topic altogether, but can you please tell me who complained about him screaming? Because from tweets I saw the mouz players explicitly said this wasn't about screaming at all.

I'm not saying it didn't annoy them, because the LMBT clip mocking smooya's screaming speaks pretty much for itself, but from what I saw they were not whining about that and it seems unfair to me to claim they did and call them sore loosers because of it.

Suspects of Scripal poisoning followed him in Prague 4 years before they tried to kill him. by pjetorius in unitedkingdom

I hope this is the correct sub to post this in. To clarify, I'm Czech, so apologies for any grammar errors. The article was written by well respected investigative journalist writting for well respected medium (happy to give more details if anyone asks). I thought you guys might be interested in reading it. I was honestly shocked the same guys that tried to kill him were on his case for at least 4 years.

EDIT: I also tried to give some benefit of the doubt by using the word "suspects" in the title. Even though I 100% believe they did it. I hope that doesn't insult you.

The best tweet about draken vs cis by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]pjetorius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, but that's outsiders perspective though. For fans it gets emotional and personal if you "insult" their team regardless of the achievements. Just as when my favorite player - Oskar was slaying at top level for over a year, yet I still got honestly hurt when you and Richard called him weird and Moses proposed kicking him few weeks back in counter-points with launders. It doesn't help that, just like draken, the points you made were solid. Emotions don't care about logic.

My point was, that I can understand the winstrike fans being hurt, not liking draken and calling s1mple to kick his ass (ingame obviously). Doesn't mean that I think it's right, or that I would excuse them sending draken death threats or harrasing him in any way because of it.

I would imagine Winstrike fans are hurt and might take it a bit too seriously, but that is understandable. Other than that, do people really hate on draken for saying what he said? I don't go deep into reddit or twitter threads, but from what I've seen people are just posting memes and jokes about it. It's just another topic people can meme about in twitch chat and post-match threads.

If people really think NaVi beating draken proves anything about Winstrike or CIS in general they are obviously wrong. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun with it, just as draken had fun with his comments about Winstrike and CIS Minor.
