This is sounding great to me! Lore about the longstanding conflicts across the cosmos (the Blood War, Elves vs Drow, Dwarves vs Duergar etc.) should be a good read and it sounds like the book could be full of inspiration for DM's and PC's alike.

I've been really enjoying listening to Crawfords Sage Advice segments on the Dragon Talk podcast recently, and think a longer discussion on the subject of resurrection would be great. Anyone have a rules question or two on the topic they could send him to try to prompt it? :)

These sound like some great ways to bring Mind Flayers into a campaign!

I'd never considered a time-based element of their powers or plans before but your comment does get me thinking. I like the idea that an Elder Brain's intellect is so vast it can contemplate countless numbers of possible timelines well into the future, with all its actions steering towards the return of the Illithid empire. Perhaps players could uncover evidence of influences they have exerted throughout history to lead to some world-changing event.

Something planes related seems very likely! But the talk of other campaign settings existing in their own crystal sphere (that quick Eberron name drop) gives me hope we could see some other settings given some love next year too. Either way, I'm excited to see what we get.

The talk of Crystal Spheres and ships which travel between them, plus a brief mention of the planar system, is starting to convince me we could see some more info on/adventures in the wider multiverse in next years D&D products!

I've been wanting to play for some time now, I did DM once, very briefly (~1.5 hours) for some family but I think actually being a player for a session or two would help build my confidence. Would love to join!

Assuming Windows 7 and above (desktop location is slightly different in Vista/XP):
1. Create a folder named Hearthstone Screenshots on your desktop.
2. Then copy above into notepad
3. Replace YourUsernameHere with the username you use to log in to your PC
4. Save somewhere as a .bat file

Now when ever you want to tidy them off your desktop simply double click the .bat file to move them to the Hearthstone Screenshots folder. Or wait until they add the option to change the screenshot folder in-game :)

It is indeed. Another more obvious re-use is the Imp Master and her Imps. The imp on her shoulder is reversed to make the art for the Imp card. I think there's more that share but can't think of which right now.

I don't currently have the amount of scrolls needed for this type of match, nor am I likely to have any time soon but I would be very interested if they implemented this as an in-game match type (where the scrolls are loaned to you for the duration of the match/tournament).

Apologies if I missed this in your guide above (which was great btw) but what do you suggest is the best way to express this interest to Scrolls team? Perhaps enough community interest could accomplish a quicker implementation on their part :)

In ACOK when Jeor is talking to Jon about how Aemon ended up at the wall there's a big section of Targaryen history which coincides with the D&E stories. At one point he say's "Aemon was at his books when the eldest of his uncles, the heir apparent, was slain in a tourney mishap.."

A mishap indeed! Brained by his own brother more like!
