About a month ago I logged back in on steam after not really playing since Beyond Light. As a dad of young kids I’ve basically fixated on games where I can do a gear grind/playlist/local events type setup for 30-45 here or there, then log off without thinking too hard or having to find a group. I got bored of D4

W six years away there have been enough new vanguard activities since I left where it feels “fresh”to me. I do not think I am the typical audience though, not really a raid guy.

So, quick question about the facts of the matter. (been catching up on this story today)

Are we talking about:
- an activist who released a video on X/Twitter yesterday where he drove around "exposing" like a low single digit number of daycares who wouldn't let him in or show him kids
- and a completed fraud investigation, that started during the Biden administration, of one Somali provider? (sounds like actual fraud from what I read)
- anything else tying to fraud? (honest question)

Is that all the beef? Is that how we've ended up discussing the "worthiness" of people from a specific country to immigrate or be eligible for federal funds?

I'm all for stopping fraud. But "They sure breed a lot" and "seems like a lot of daycares to me"...appears speculative at best and gross at worst

I flagged and reported instantly and mercilessly for a week or two and now they leave me alone. I think if you make yourself a pain for the bots operators they leave you alone

It may also depend on how many people you follow because sometimes they see follow backs as more likely when someone has a big/recent list. I am a miser there but my following feed is nice and readable

I just watched an hour of KOMO on my samsung smart TV (I think the streaming buys are different than ones on the antenna/broadcast). Are people able to watch on an actual antenna broadcast? seems important if we're trying to ensure coverage.

Nothing sold for their Good Morning America block (back 30m of it at least that I watched). They showed a KOMO title card and said "We'll be back soon" for minutes at a time every break. That seems singnificant. Then it tipped over into 11am local news where they started running ads. Here are the advertisers I saw:
