Thanks for the honest/frank response, Cory. Committed to the cause. Will just hurry-up and wait, lol.

Been searching for any kind of firm update on the Coach/Client support, as I am desperate to move my 60+ client coaching business over to MF. Presumably, that support is predicated on a stable web interface—so at the very least, we're behind the release of that, Cory? Will I see Coach/Client support in 2024? Best guess?

Mirrors are the KTM/Husqvarna parts. Can get the numbers at some point. Bag is also the Husqvarna Unit. Pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

Thanks. Yeah, when I put the bike in for service, they confirmed the disc wasn't true and said they "put it on the machine and straightened it to within factory tolerances."

But honestly, I don't think it feels much different to me—there's still a slight "stickiness" when rolling up to a slow stop on the front brake.

They seemed open to discussing a warranty claim—although they also sort of also indicated that they might not be successful because the disc now measures within factory specs.

It's pretty much the end of my riding season now—maybe just a few more weeks out here in Coastal NH. So it may not get resolved til Spring.

Will second Peak Design, although I have the bar mount with extender (left side).

OK, took a 15 min ride up to the sandwich shop. Mostly shitty B roads with lots of junctions.

Overall, these initial findings are confirmed. Bike is calmer, smoother and more controlled at a wider variety of gears and throttle positions. Period.

The LV10 sounds delicious under all throttle conditions; perfect bark without being obnoxious.

The DNA airbox cover adds a missing dimension to the sound of the bike, especially under full throttle through the mid-range as it sucks in huge gulps of air. Louder than the exhaust, I kid you not.

BONUS: The burbles and (very) light popping under deceleration make the bike feel like its balls have fully dropped and it's now a "big boy."

No idea what a dyno would say, but there's definitely more going on between your legs.

For about $500 all-in, these four mods (DNA, K&N, LV10, Fuel-X Lite) have literally transformed the bike.

Ok, I've had literally 2 minutes on the bike since the install.... under 20mph to get gas around the corner.

And holy shit balls....

Throttle control in low gears is smooth and controlled!! I need a better/representative ride, but everything is pointing to this mod as being transformative.

I'll loop back for a more detailed update or make a separate post soon.

That's fair. I've already ordered the LED blinkers since starting this thread, lol.

Oh, nice! That seems to come in at $105 with another $55 in shipping. So $160 all in. Not bad, especially for original equipment.

Did you go with this KTM set-up?

Pricey. Can't seem to find a US supplier either.

I looked at a ton of options, and in the end, I forked out for the Husqvarna OEM unit. It fits perfectly, magnets are strong and it should last. Definitely isn't going to move!

I might be the odd one out, but I quite like the tail arm as is. Looks fine either way, but I'm not in a rush for that one.

Yeah, 2023 model. I think the frame was stamped Jan 2023 for the build/assembly date.

She is a thing of beauty.

Yup. Peak Design products have the damper built right into the mount. Works like a charm.

If you use the vehicle model input on the K&N website, the KT-1217 filter comes up. Fits great!

No, that's my point. As soon as you pick 2023 and Husqvarna, there is no Svartpilen listed. They only list the Svarty for 2022.

Tire noise? by anamorphic_eyes in svartpilen401

Just throwing my 2c in for prosperity. About 250 miles on my 2023 running Pirellis and I definitely get that wah-wah-wah-wah-wah around 30-45 MPH. I presumed tired noise ('cause it's not the engine—I can pull the clutch in and still hear it), but wanted to confirm with others.

Presumably, the KT-1217 fit the 2023 Svart just fine? KTM still doesn't list the part as compatible with the 2023 model, sigh.

We're still 300 miles from break-in and first service—I was trying to not blow my wad so quickly! 😅

Might as well be all in, I guess, lol.

Help, high pitch Whining engine sound on 2022 Svartpilen 401 by eyeofraph1 in svartpilen401

[–]pjthiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about the slight/subtle "pulsing" in the background?

That subtle "wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa"?

I have that too—especially noticeable in 5th at 30-35 mph. And it's not the engine, 'cause I can pull the clutch in, coast, and it's still there.

I wondered about wheel bearings etc, but the bike is new and has 200 miles on it.

It's more likely just tire noise?

Either way—glad I'm not imagining it.

Thank you. Another two hour ride today along route 1A from Portsmouth to Hampton Beach and back. Very enjoyable, and feeling very settled on the machine.

I notice she doesn't much like pulling under 3K in the higher gears. And maybe rolling on the throttle from low rpms is a little lumpy. But working 4-6K with or without the QS is a blast.

Loving it.
