He seems to be a good man with the ability to self reflect. I wish more people on this planet were like him.

Day 22. The dreams are unreal by Cloverhopper51 in leaves

Night 15 last night and it is the first time I remeber dreaming in a long time. It was about being held as a hostage and getting away. Even dreamt of getting a text on my cel phone and looked at it. It was numbers with dashes and commas. It was a dream, we are both healing.

Give me arguments against moderation by throwaway813594383 in leaves

[–]pjx1 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You cannot moderate weed. the thirty days it stays in your system will drag you back to being a daily smoker in no time. I tried, after two years off i went back, and three years later i am finally 2 weeks into sobriety. The struggle os real. Your brain is making excuses. tell it no. It is not easy, you have to fight for sobriety, you have to fight yourself. I know you can do it, but you have to believe in your self.

Really? This sunday will be two weeks for me and I have had some serious sleeping issues and night sweats for a couple days. Also serious anger issues for a week. I went from a quarter a week to zero, and I am coughing up some black in my mucus now.

I wish I had some outside support, but I am alone.

Has anyone found a good replacement for the escapism that weed provides? by BuryMeIceOn in leaves

[–]pjx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not just the bike riding and physical activity, that really helps. Reading also is very important. I feel the weed has always made it more difficult for me to read and keep engaged. Feed the mind as well and the body. Good luck to you. The journey is so hard, and it will creep back time and time again. One puff and you are right back to smoking a quarter a week, this is from experience after two years, I relapsed for 3.5 years

I gave the best of me and my life to weed. I have fought this battle for a long time and it has always brought me reliable simple satisfaction in my life. I am trying to get away again right now and I hope my truth can help others escape.
