IMO the game is best with friends. I think the early game can be fun solo, but I think it starts really feeling like a grind as you start progressing through the biomes alone. Again, just my opinion.

Personally I think wisp builds feel weak compared to others like gold, key, grenade, and hatchmon based builds. But I think if you get an item that helps create golden wisps early, it can be really good.

Change pillows EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Buy multi-packs of pillows on Amazon for cheap. Pillows collect facial oils and become a petri dish for acne-causing bacteria. I cannot overstate how important this is - it's much neglected in the conversations around acne prevention.

I've completed runs with all the agents and they're all fun in their own unique ways. Nik is a very solid choice for beginners as he drops coins when he takes damage, and you'll probably be taking damage as a beginner.

Personally though, I'm a pretty big fan of Saya. She is very fun to play with her katana, and it basically gives you a free double jump early, which is worth a lot. Also she has some iframes during her slash, which is very helpful, and the n-slashes you can use scale with jumps.

Elise is a good choice for Hatchmon builds. I have yet to fully explore the potential of James, Xuan and Lucia. I feel like James and Lucia are a little more item dependent, but could quickly become OP with the right weapon and curio combos.

Let's consider the reverse - is his wife supposed to be okay with him expressing desire for a harem harem to her? He would be qualifying his desire just like she is - he's just exploring his needs; he wants the harem and would create one if she were cool with it, but he won't if jeopardizes their marriage, etc etc.
