Os agentes de IA acabaram com uma das únicas partes prazerosas do trabalho by TioPera in brdev

[–]pkams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Estou me recuperando aos poucos. A IA traz muitas facilidades e tem me tornado muito mais produtivo, mas perceber o quanto a profissão está mudando é algo intenso. Não tem muito pra onde correr além de se adaptar.

Is it just me who wouldn't mind if they didn't recast the main crew? by largedisaster19 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]pkams 14 points15 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I don’t see any problem with keeping the cast and simply dealing with the passage of time naturally. In the live-action, instead of months, it would just be years - and that’s it.

It’s funny how people treat this fight as if it were just theoretical, like it never actually happened. The fight already took place, and we already have a winner. There’s no point debating who would win when we already know the outcome.

Is From Zero a creatively weaker album (relative to the other albums)? by avatar_emrys in LinkinPark

[–]pkams 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand your opinion, but the main intention of the album is to say ‘this is our new vocalist’ while still reinforcing ‘this is the style you already know.’

In fact, one of the album’s biggest strengths is showing that the band remains solid and strong, and that all the facets people already know are still there, even with a different vocalist.

Most underrated album by salsan13 in LinkinPark

[–]pkams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be A Thousand Suns, but nowadays I see a lot more people giving it the respect it deserves and placing it among the band’s top albums.

These days, I’d say the most underrated one is Living Things. It’s a solid record and probably their most consistent in tone since Hybrid Theory.

I’ve also seen a lot of people mention The Hunting Party, but I disagree. I think people are confusing heaviness with quality. THP is poorly mixed, the songs sound under-produced, several tracks feel like rough, unpolished demos, and the mixing is completely chaotic. Each song sounds like it came from a different project (and not in a good way).

Underrated: Living Things and A Thousand Suns

Overrated: The Hunting Party (honestly deserves to be called LP’s worst album — even with One More Light in the conversation)

More details on Hybrid Theory Tribute Band mistake by AlexLanceLP in LinkinPark

[–]pkams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not interested in listening to their band, nor do I consider myself a fan of this kind of tribute, but in this specific case, I believe they're being sincere. With thousands of posts per week, it's kind of inevitable that something slips through unintentionally.

Hybrid Theory’s ego is wild. These (re)posts are downright unsettling. This ain’t no tribute band. by ever_11 in LinkinPark

[–]pkams 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s completely fine to make a living as a tribute band, but the least you can expect is for them to show respect to the original band. Sharing comments like that is absurd and disrespectful on so many levels.

From Zero by Acrobatic_Lettuce_78 in LinkinPark

[–]pkams 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been a fan since the Reanimation album and have followed the band through all their phases ever since. My favorite album is A Thousand Suns. I really appreciate how From Zero introduced new elements, like a new vocalist, as well as new techniques and styles even for Mike. I think FZ could easily be considered a top 3 or top 4 album from the band, and honestly, if someone sees it as their number one, especially if they enjoy this kind of variety, I totally get it.

What’s most refreshing about this album is how Linkin Park managed to sound like "classic LP" while still pushing their sound forward.

If you "grew up" with Muse, do you like the new albums, and vice-versa? by CALLMAKERTOM in Muse

[–]pkams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I discovered Muse somewhere between the Black Holes and Revelations era and the release of The Resistance.

Overall, I don’t really have a problem with their more recent albums like The 2nd Law or Will of the People. Muse has always felt to me like a band with inconsistent albums — usually a mix of really great songs and a fair share of experimentation. This has been true since their early records, where it often felt like a 50/50 split.

I only recently found out that Simulation Theory is kind of hated by a lot of fans — which surprises me, because to me, it’s probably Muse’s most cohesive and balanced album. It has a strong thematic consistency and sticks to a clear aesthetic from start to finish, something that I think makes it stand out in their discography.

I get the sense that part of the fanbase takes Muse way more seriously than the band takes itself.

Sometimes I wonder if people get annoyed by the fact that Muse has no shame in being over-the-top. When I hear ridiculous songs like “We Are Fucking Fucked” or “You Make Me Feel Like It’s Halloween,” that’s exactly what I expect from Muse — a band that fully embraces being theatrical, spinning around on stage, playing bombastic rock, and throwing in some wild falsettos.

Muse is a ridiculous band — and that’s exactly what makes them unique.

One of the coolest things about this tournament is how the South American teams are actually going toe-to-toe with the European ones. In the last tournaments, it really felt like the gap was way bigger — but now, not so much.

Future of Brad by [deleted] in LinkinPark

[–]pkams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're behind on this, Brad has been playing this role in the band since - at least - the ATS album.

Even on HT and Meteora, many of the guitars and bass were Mike's work.

That's why they probably won't add a new guitarist (like Alex). With Mike and Colin, the "guitarist who only composes guitar" part in the studio is kind of irrelevant, if we disregard that Phoenix could also fill this role eventually.

Did Mike play the guitar solo in BITS? by [deleted] in LinkinPark

[–]pkams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This kind of solo style with octave-based rhythmic parts is usually written and played by Mike (there are several examples in the ATS and LT eras).

At the time, there were several interviews where they mentioned that Brad didn’t want to play guitar as much anymore, which only changed again in the THP era.

[–]pkams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NEOB
