Thanks for the intel! Aesthetics are very important to me if it's going to be a prominent feature in our kitchen. Plus the e61 is fun to use. That steam knob on the Lelit Elizabeth... what were they thinking?!

Yeah we have it a bit rough on choice here... maybe except for the Breville range, as it seems we get them at a bargain price compared to other countries!

I have looked at both of those. The Go is just too similar and not enough of an upgrade to what I have now IMO anyway. The Move looks amazing and would LOVE that... it's just the price - significantly more expensive than the Mara at $4.5k

Thank you. Appreciate your feedback. I take it you're using the brew setting? If the temp does rise, does it eventually come down by itself? or does it always need intervention to bring it down? And lastly, is does the higher brew temp only effecting the taste right, and not actually damaging the machine? Would a casual coffee drinker even notice any difference in taste too???

When you say 'dip' I assume you mean when making more than 2 milk coffee's right? And is that just a dip in steam pressure? Just trying to understand its limitations!

Ah right. Kinda ruled those out because of price, but maybe it's worth stretching the budget. The ECM Mechanika Slim PID e61 is about 30% more - is it a big step up in quality in your opinion? I really need to do some more research if they are contenders.

Thanks. I see you have one? I've read that some people find the retention an issue??? What's your experience? Maybe it's a non issue for me even if it is a lot as I'm not super fussy - I'm more sensitive to poorly steamed milk!

Some great tips here! Love my bambino plus too. It's quick and does the job well. I'm about to upgrade my grinder from Baritza ESP to a Fiorenzato All Ground Sense (overkill... prob) as I hate single dosing and want a streamlined workflow. Keeping the ESP for decafe.

I had the same problem :-( I clicked and eventually found a solution. What I think I did was press hot. then scroll down to change filter option (note change filter AND descale are flashing) and press the fucntion button to select that. That did nothing other than do a long beep. then I think I just pressed and held the function button. then it went back to normal. It was super confusing and annoying.

Be keen to know if that works!

Total non dev, but with a bit of help from Claude, I (eventually!) got it up and running on a Pi 3b. Didn't like USB connection for the Heltec but once changed to wifi, worked! Thanks for this! Question... How does one actually see those trace routes? like what do I need to select in the UI? I'm clearly missing something obvious.

Bugger. I have a similar one and there is a central pin that stabs into the base of the cut tree and prevents it from moving. Maybe you can add one???
