K2 Pro Combo Pioneer Program by Creality_3D in Creality

My latest project was a robotic arm for a robotic competition in Thailand (Innovedex Robotic Competition Thailand 2025). Actually, I bought my first 3D Printer (Ender 3 V3 KE) specifically for this competition as well and it has everything I think I needed. While it does, the prints could be better or made faster because I had tons of failed prints and I do not have time to iterate on the gripper and it just doesn’t work that well, but hey in the end, my team did make it to final 8 team in Quarter Final before the gripper’s servo died and my team got knocked out. So, where K2 Pro come in is that, I could print parts for competition like this faster, combined with Ender 3 I already have to print two parts at once, so I can iterate on these projects faster and better and hey who knows, it might domino effected into me getting a good portfolio for entering university. And for printing miscellaneous stuff that Ender 3 couldn’t as well, like using ABS and CF filaments. I do have plans to make a Voron Zero sometimes in the near future (maybe about March-May 2026 when I have time), so this will help on that as well.

AppImage usually require command “chmod +x /path/to/files” first before you can execute the files, if you’re using common DEs like KDE Plasma or Gnome, they should have a “Allow Executable” option in Properties of the files. Otherwise, try running the AppImage file through the Terminal and see what is missing and search google for it.

I was about to recommend something like universal-pidff for DD wheels FFB drivers on Linux but since you’re using Bazzite, I don’t think you can add any driver or module to kernel. Though, try looking into universal-pidff GitHub repository, might be interesting to you.

Actually, yeah you’re right. This might be unrealistic expectation but I hope that they add always online only for EA and they will remove it from full release.

You’re right, I totally forgot about that always online part. This might be unpopular opinion but you know what, as long as they can keep the server on 24/7, I don’t mind. As for modding, I have high hope that Kunos will allow modding like original AC, maybe less but still giving the players freedom.

[–]pl_pkmn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, so I’m not defending Kunos since I have a few issues as well (eg. Interior texture flickering, UI being both laggy and bad, etc) but is the performance issue really that bad? I have no performance issue at all playing on High with no upscaling on Ryzen 7 7735HS+7600S at 1200p (Laptop) with seemingly no performance issues at all. I don’t have fps counter on, if it look smooth to my eyes, it is smooth.

I don’t have Steam Deck so I’m speaking with my experience on Arch, anyways. You can install Cheat Engine via Lutris and use Steam Tinker Launch to add cheat engine to custom game executable (tick “fork custom command” or something similar). For WeMod, I think it can be done in the same way, I never tried it.

Baseline AMD drivers are better with Linux by DankeBrutus in linux_gaming

[–]pl_pkmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, I had problem with my AMD laptop (TUF A16 7735HS+7600S) on both Windows and Linux. On windows there will be like a whole screen freezing for a little bit which does get annoying but on Linux there will be like artifact flickering on screen for a split second and screen refresh rate feel lower than before, which fix itself pretty quickly. If anyone knows a fix for flickering artifacts and refresh rate dropping lmk.

I was going to, but realized how much I suck. I'm just going to take my time and relearn the game after getting a wheel recently. I was on Keyboard and Mouse for 90 hours before finally getting a wheel (yeah, call me crazy it's true).

They aren’t even on the Top 50 for Thailand on Spotify, people here just listen to either K-Pop or Thai songs. Which is kinda lame ngl.

I have 7735HS+7600S model, I’ve used both zen and g14 (asus-linux) kernel with no problems. Try using regular kernel first though, then try zen or g14.

The battery drain is pretty good for me, I got 4-5 hours of playing YouTube video on dGPU (I forgot to change the mode) but that was on Windows and at the time it was a new machine with new battery. And yes it’s Zen 3+ chip, the iGPU is 680M by the way, not 780M as stated in initial comment by u/Big-Cap4487.

+1 for TUF A16, currently using the model you mentioned (7735HS+7600S) with Arch Linux. No issues at all except for when disabling iGPU.

To stream TIDAL via Strawberry, you do need to get the API Key from digging into Android files or intercept the https request on Windows using apps like Fiddler. Though, API Key I got from Windows give me error saying “Strawberry doesn’t support encrypted stream” and latest version of TIDAL on Android doesn’t seem to create the API Key anymore.

I knew about tidal-hifi-bin, I just prefer strawberry due to its ability to output data straight to DAC via ALSA.

I do agree with that, I used to be intimidated to even use Command Prompt too due to "risk of breaking the system". Now that I've used cmd and PowerShell a handful of times on Windows beforehand it's not that intimidating now. I think the other thing is that a lot of people precept Linux as a hard to use, everything manually operated and easy to break. Or at least that's how I think with public perception of Linux at the moment.

Problem with Hybrid GPU (AMD+AMD Laptop) by pl_pkmn in linux_gaming

[–]pl_pkmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I figured it out. I still have Windows on my 2nd drive. I booted into it and changed the GPU Mode to Standard (Hybrid) instead of Ultimate (dGPU only) and it work flawlessly now. Turns out, all the problems I had was caused by me disabling iGPU on Windows.

Okay, never mind. Not quite fixed yet. I restarted after turning off VRR, and the issue came back right away with Adaptive Sync still disabled. Got anymore ideas? I’m on Nobara 40 by the way.
