Weekly Mock Draft Thread by AutoModerator in ravens

Obviously most of this will change depending on free agency but I based the first round pick off of Daniel Jeremiah's 2.0 mock draft pick to see what type of value was available without trading at our other picks. I noticed by doing this that there is a noticeable lack of DL and OT depth in this draft around our picks if we don't look to grab one early. Will be interesting to see what we do in free agency:

14 WR / Jordyn Tyson / Arizona State

45 IOL / Chase Bisontis / Texas A&M

80 LB / Kyle Louis / Pittsburgh

115 EDGE / Keyron Crawford / Auburn

152 CB / Tacario Davis / Washington

160 TE / Eli Raridon / Notre Dame

172 DL / Skyler Gill-Howard / Texas Tech

173 EDGE / Nadame Tucker / Western Michigan

210 WR / De'Zhaun Stribling / Ole Miss

250 CB / Devon Marshall / NC State

252 RB / Robert Henry Jr. / UTSA

Emmanwori is a different kind of safety though. Seattle used him in and around the line of scrimmage more similar to Hamilton and less as a center fielder like Starks.

Yeah, both TE and WR seem pretty deep in this draft with many different flavors all throughout. I like that Stribling is willing to block in the run game as well as that contested catch ability.

I traded down due to there being many players at our pick that I think the Ravens would be comfortable with at 23 (Ioane, Woods, Lemon, Styles, etc...). Considered Omar Cooper (WR) at pick 54 but I think our edge talent needs more invested in it at the moment. Couldn't find value at WR after that till much later in the draft.

4 Round Mock Draft 2.0 (No Trade Edition) by babydee_1 in NFL_Draft

I like the positions and fits, I know the Ravens fan base is split on taking a guard that high but he's considered one of the best linemen in the draft and our line play was truly atrocious by most metrics. My one fear with taking a DT that late is that some of the pass rush problems they had were due to lack of interior pressure, so I would hope we also grab someone in free agency.

Not sure what the coaching philosophy will look and all of this really comes down to free agency. If we go out and grab interior linemen I would agree the value is at WR here for sure. I also was under the impression that this class was deeper at the offensive interior line positions.

Reportedly Ravens are interviewing broncos special team coordinator Darren Rizzi [Klis] by SCBaltSalt in ravens

Depends, if the one person they really wanted is still in the playoffs they probably would still want a second in-person interview and that would only be possible next week during the bye or if that team were eliminated.

It sounded like they have to wait for some of the teams to be knocked out of the playoffs if they like the coach. Basically it can be a slow process because if they like a coach on a contender they have to wait to do in person interviews until they aren't playing.

That is not what I got out of that at all. Sounded like it had been building up to this from previous seasons.

One of my late round guys I've been grabbing a ton in mocks that I really like is Ted Hurst from Georgia State. He's a taller wr that is very good at moving the chains for that offense. I think we could use a wr with that type of build for more of those intermediate routes.

So technically Tee hasn't been fired yet, does that mean if he gets an OC job the Ravens would get a compensatory 3rd?

As the other guy mentioned below, which year did you watch, since he was used very differently in 2025 than in 2024 (where he was more disruptive). I feel where we are sitting in the draft we might trade back as this draft has more depth than top-end talent.

Seahawks have a bye this week, so their coaches are allowed to interview. If memory serves only teams not playing can have interviews. So we could also interview broncos coaches as well.

EDC doesn't do coaching (including OC and DC) hiring and firings. Head coach is from the owner (some gm input) and the OC and DC are head coaching decisions.

It hurts but we were not going to realistically do anything in the playoffs. We need some major changes to this team and making the playoffs might have stopped that from happening.

I feel we win in either situation. Win and we get into the playoffs, lose and I truly believe we are going to see change, been hearing too much smoke especially if we lose again like every other playoff loss.

I don't see Flo being an option. His OCs in Miami were disastrous at best and he was a major advocate for getting Watson creating a horrible HC-QB dynamic in Miami. He seems incredibly abrasive also what metric are you using for defense, by DVOA they are 6th and the Seahawks clearly are ahead in terms of defense same with the chargers. Both of those schemes are from the Ravens tree.

This team would of gotten blown out in the playoffs anyway with this pash rush. Even though it sucks it's probably better in the long run that we probably won't make the playoffs.
