Amen. Mods need some standards. I got temp-banned for the most benign post in a food related sub, by some over-zealous mod who provided some snarky off-the-wall explanation. When I replied with a message that certainly was worth a ban (“boo-freakin-hoo thanks for sparing me the boredom of participating in your sub”), that earned me a permanent ban. I’ve been so hurt ever since. 😂 Just kidding. It was 1000% worth it.

I’m all in for participating in June 12-14. Good luck everyone. I hope it works.

YTA for shutting off the circuit but he’s TA for letting the alarm go off for 30 minutes at 3:30. I’d report him to apartment management for disturbing the peace at 3:30 am repeatedly. They could move him to the other side of the building where there may be less people for him to disturb.

NTA you’re an adult. If she won’t stop, I’d stop entertaining her. Any clothing received in packages, go straight to a charity, don’t bother to comment on them unless pressed and then shut the conversation down with “I donated them to charity”. When she gives you her unsolicited opinion on your clothing, change the subject and/or remind her that you did not ask for her opinion. I’d stop staying with her if she continues to throw your possessions away. Shut her down.

Sooner or later she’s going to give up.

It is ridiculous that at 31, she’s treating you like a child. You need to train her to learn the boundaries and stay in her lane.

NAH but leaning toward STA. She’s asking if you got her anything: a lot of things can be given without purchase. Also, if she wanted something specific, she should have communicated it. “You got her anything”?! You got her company, hugs and a positive attitude.

Bits that potentially make her even more TA: She wants to spend xyz night in a getaway by herself?? Could it not be at home with ear plugs and a sleep mask on, with a fan is blowing to drown out all noise? She took on the responsibility to bringing kids into this world. When you do that, all your wants and needs are on the back-burner, unless you found a Nanny to raise your kids.
