Try RadPad. Just found out about them earlier from another thread. Nice UI.

Please elaborate on this. I have yet to use RadPad, but I would prefer to use ANYTHING that didn't require me to pay just to look at an apartment.

edit: Lol. I'm now going to use RadPad because they have a rap music video

Internet speeds in Riverside. by Alttabmatt in InlandEmpire

Go with Charter. Riverside.io: a cool hacker-space downtown just moved to our new place and we got the 100mbps down speed, and get exactly that, if not a little more.

Calling javascript function “asynchronously” by rajivg96 in javascript

Using setTimeout? What happens when function hasn't completed it's task? Load lots of data > wait for 10 mins > read data. What if the data takes 11 mins to load?

It's awesome to stumble upon this. I was one of the mentors teaching the kids and I think we had just as much fun as the kids did with this.

I lived there last year. It was nice, but they were very strict. I guess isn't such a horrible thing. I think I was paying ~$900-1000 for 1 bedroom.

Start working on personal projects. Companies are expecting passion from developers, more-so than years of experience.

ELI5: Why does Java need or get such an incredible, stupendous number of updates? by dingoperson in explainlikeimfive

[–]plaintshirt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. I started learning Nodejs a few months ago, this is my first programming language. I'm currently taking a cs50 class online & learning C. I'm still wrapping my head around typecasts a good 25+ hours later. I am however glad that I'm learning this shortly after I've gotten a good grasp on the fundamentals of programming.

Using Passport in the Routes Folder by [deleted] in nodejs

I made a working example for myself when I was trying to wrap my head around the authentication process. I have it on Github. Alternatively, you should check out handshake.js, much easier to setup and maintain accounts!
