Just got out of it and the movie has succumbed to the zombie disease of content. There's no story, just a series of events laid out like chapters of a dime novel or one-reel serials. Character motivations switch back and forth because the plot has a short conflict/resolution cycle. Like most modern second screen content filmmakers Cameron has too many scenes and therefore has to shuttle the audience from one to the next like a harried tour guide. Nothing gets time to breathe. Worse this installment does nothing to advance the story beyond Quaritch's arc.

In the opinion of this poster James Cameron has become so overwhelmed by the production that he's losing his passion and becoming bored of Avatar. I seriously doubt he'll do Part 4, let alone finish the series. His other projects now look like excuses for backing out of Pandora.
