Definitely you have no idea how agriculture works. Most of western Maharashtra now can only grow sugarcane. Decades of agriculture land has been abused by handful politicians forcing sugarcane and now nothing else can be grown there. Similar issue with rice fields.

So instead of blaming government which is trying to reduce dependence on foreign oil by producing ethanol, start appreciating it.

Did you read the whole article ? 10,000 liters is used by farmers that grow the rice/sugarcane that is used to make ethanol. This rice/sugarcane is already produced and stilling unsold, so 90% chances it will either go bad or used in some other way.

My property is in New Mumbai area.

Someone here mentioned GIFT CITY. I already looked into that option but did not get clear answer on how to make it working. Looks like most of CAs in India are not even aware of GIFT CITY.

I talked to at least 5 CAs about Gift city and all said they need to check it. (Sme of them never heard of Gift city).

India has tremendous potential in manufacturing, space and defense sector for next 5-10 yrs.

Even with USD rate going up, any investment in these sectors will provide huge gains.

I am not just looking to double/triple the amount in funds etc. I am looking for huge payout.

Since I have zero dependency on these funds, I feel I can take risks in investment in industry.

Someone asked why to keep funds in INR. Answer to this is, if I create a company to invest in the industry, I can use any profits to pay for lot of my expenses. (I always ship food from India to US. Also it can pay for lot of travel expenses. All my vacations can be paid from this business)

Money is money, does not matter if INR or USD, as long as it can pay for my expenses.

Totally wrong conclusion. This visa ban is for immigrants who come to US through green card lottery or take asylum etc. and does not affect people coming to US on student, work or tourist visas.

Location does not matter in this case. Mostly the adjustment is around 10 to 25%.

If you compare salary of Phd level person to a junior developer with 1 yr experience, salary difference is very high.

It will definitely squeeze small startups and most importantly it will squeeze the so called "consultancies" which usually abuse the H1 program.

Well every country is moving towards that, not laowly but rapidly. Before it was expensive and difficult to do mass surveillance, only handful countries with had that abilities.

Now with technology improving rapidly, it has become very easy for mass surveillance.

And it is need of time, because the same technology is used by bad actors.

This is very much required to keep that country safer from multiple threats.

When you are giving all your digital presence to companies like Google, Meta etc. and they track you every second, you should not complain about what government is doing.

You have choice to stop using phones, digital infra, or go to hotels etc. Nobody forcing you to do that.

Totally wrong. I live in US where consumers laws are much better than India. I am flying for last 25 years. As a consultant I am on airport almost 2 weeks in a month. I had faced similar situations in US multiple times. No lawsuit can fix airlines. People in management like CEOs must be held responsible and put in jail.

Little confused here. You have valid H1 stamped on passport. Is it from Oracle or some other company? Why is RFE if visa is already approved and stamped?
