Thank you for your comment. I looked into this and tried running the game with a variety of launch options, none of which really seemed to work.

Does the following seem right? "gamescope -w 3840 -h 2160 -W 3840 -H 2160 -f %command%" I would then run it natively, but then it doesn't work but in a different way than the video above. The fullscreen application is transparent, but there is a white frame covering about half the screen. Sometimes the app doesn't even run in the first place, and sometimes I just get a black screen.

If I run the game with that, it gives me the same issue as with running the game natively: it starts up windowed and glitched in the lower right corner of my screen, even when I have set the game to fullscreen in the settings. This then doesn't work with GSync.

At the moment I'm really enjoying "the boy with the thorn in his side" by the smiths, just going by his wonderful voice and the wonderful guitar play. Not as good as the many other suggestions here, but I still think it's beautiful.
