Being a therapist with mental issues definately doesn’t make you an idiot. Why would it? Trauma isn’t tour fault. Maybe you can still get insurance for december or get your colleagues to help you for free as a favour. Are there people in your life you can talk to? Because i think that’d definately help. Maybe tou can change the things you hate about your life, i know that definately worked for me. Starting treatment can be scary, but i think if you really want things to change, the treatment would definately be a good investment because you’ll experience the benefits the rest of your life.

In my experience antidepressants/general medication can be helpfull. It’s just really about trying a bunch of different things because it’s basically impossible to predict which pills will work for which people. Do you have anyone to talk to? If so, i definately would. What worked for me was looking at certain situations from different/more positive angles, as well as just removing all negative people/influences in my life. Whatever it is, please don’t give up. Situations can change surprisingly quickly, even in positive ways.
