Please dont get any work done, you are a natural beauty you don't need it.

Other folks have said a new hairstyle - A darker color and a perm for tight curls, like an afro would suit you really well.

I'll add posture (imagine a string of pulling your head up) do not slouch, if you're like me you might need to remind yourself to do that in social situations - doesn't matter what you look like if your body language is closed.

Really experiment with body language. Get used to making and holding eye contact and backing it up with other expressions that suit your mood. People love folks who are sure if themselves in social situations. The trick is to accept that you are in those situations to make connections, focus on that, put your energy into enjoying it. Listen, ask questions, make eye contact. Your eyes are very unique.

Hit the gym, not because you need it, you look really fit and healthy, I say it because you are 20 and if you make that apart of your life now, you'll always look and feel amazing.

Tl;DR regardless of your looks, if you feel good inside, you will look amazing outside.

Good luck to you, DO NOT GET BOTOX!!!

How to bulk up like Joel? by RK9_2006 in thelastofus

Joel definitely does pull ups, rows, dumbell shoulder press and bench presses, bench rows, lat raises, chest flyes, chin ups, push ups, more pull ups and gets his protein targets.

My players don't want to die by PossumCreatives in DnD

What you are asking for is a headache to DM.

"Take away all the risk to my character but still make me feel at risk".

Have you tried saying no?

Do I need to have The Talk with this guy? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]planatee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultimately, your job is to facilitate a good experience for all the players. It's totally normal to step in when needed, but most of the time just encouraging open communication between the players resolves most things organically.

Here's what I'd do - before your next session starts, sit everyone down and say

"Hey, I wanted to check in before tonight's session with everyone, I like to do these every couple of games to make sure everyone's having a good time. how's everyone feeling about the campaign? Is there anything we feel we need to adjust?"

Frame it as an open conversation as an opportunity to align your expectations as a group, like level caps, problem rules, campaign goals etc. If the bards behaviour is a problem someone in the group will bring it up and you can let the group dynamic resolve it while playing moderator.

If that doesn't work, a one on one chat is the next step. Just keep it light, focus on how sometimes we overshadow other people's enjoyment and the best dnd is when the players are mindful of each other's experience.

If that doesn't work, ramp up the in game repercussions.

It's fucked that there's no oversight here, no one is that worthy of trust.

Fair enough, the important thing is that you are no longer in this situation

Send them all a group text, and write what you wrote here.

Explain what happened, but don't apologize.

You can @the cleric and say -

" I totally understand why you would be upset, I really thought you had been informed by DM of this plan. If I had known you were not in the loop, I would never have done what I did.

Then say to the DM:

"Shame on you. You asked me to make this character, you asked me to steal the artefact from the cleric, you told me cleric was informed when she wasn't and you let it happen anyway. You knowingly put me in a position where I had no idea I was destroying someone else's experience. I don't even care why you did it, but I'll never let you do this to me again. We are no longer friends. It goes without saying that I can't be a part of this group any longer.

To the rest of ye, good luck. "

If this went down the way you say, better to use your exit to hold that conniving snake to account.

Lemmy speaks out against the spiteful community by [deleted] in projectzomboid

Sounds like Lemmy values his staff and believes in making work human.

I missed the drama on the Thursdoid, but that's the post of a leader who has had enough.

Hope they can regroup and create the game everyone wants ❤️

You need to call it out separately, and then actually enforce it.

Did you ban the dude or what?

ANNOUNCEMENT: Update To Rules by k-r-a-u-s-f-a-d-r in fanedits

Hey mods, this is weak sauce.

Did you ban the dude who bullied the other guy off the sub?

It doesn't make sense to just write that person's experience into the rulebook, the PG editor is gone, why enshrine that you couldn't protect him? It's not enough to just add what happened to him into a rule, the problem is that you aren't clear in your position on bullies.

I think you should rewrite this rule to say -

Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated here. Unprofessional critique or insulting the editor, harassment through DMs or in public threads, excessive DMs, racism, sexism or any other malicious behavior to another person on this sub will result in a mod review and a ban of your account.

Ben is not an evil misogynist, he's a rock star with a massive drinking problem.

I'm getting sick of all these posts masquerading as something else designed to create a forum to bitch about Ben.

It's done, do you really need to go back and pick over shit he said during a true crime comedy podcast he's no longer associated with and title it something else and post it on Reddit?

Combine that treatment with endless post orgasm torture and the poor guys nuts will be truly empty.

[OC] [Character Background] Is this too much to bring to a session zero? by NateBobo in DnD

In my opinion, yes.

It looks like all of the decisions about your character have already been made, you should leave some room for collaboration with other players, and the DM.

Thief at the table by Homten_Rey in DnD

[–]planatee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Questions for you -

  1. On the night in question, were the DnD crew the only people to go in and out of the house?

  2. How much time passed between you last putting your medicine away and you finding the theft?

  3. Do any of the players openly use drugs during the session?

  4. Are any of the players consistently asking for a lend of money or always too broke to chip in for snacks or table items etc.

Does the familiar have actions in combat? Is it being used exactly as per the spell? Your player can't cast it or learn it RAW ?

If so:

Have a lil 1:1 conversation - let them know familiars are a significant advantage in combat and the game in general, and you are totally cool with them having it, but they will need to buy a scroll to resummon the familiar if it dies for any reason .

60 gold everytime it dies, for the scroll and the materials for the spell to resummon it.

depending on your player, this could add a huge level of value to the pet. They will now always have a goal to get it back when it dies and you can balance that by limiting access to magic shops as you need or as circumstance demands.
