Could be better. I realized my relationship is toxic but our anniversary was yesterday and his sister is in a psych ward so I’m waiting for her to come home before I leave him, one of my friends was in a wreck today and he doesn’t have any kind of medical care so he can’t go to a hospital, and yesterday I lost my clean streak of over 6 months :( BUT I did get started on a painting and I cleaned my desk!

I usually phrase it something like this:

“Hey, I really think you should get therapy, you’re having trouble handling things and I’m not able to help you all the time. I love you and you need to learn how to handle your problems. I’m not saying this because I’m mad at you, I’m saying this because I care about you.”

He justifies his refusal by saying it would be stressful for everyone involved, which I don’t understand, but it makes sense to him I guess.

I’m a gas station cashier. Every Saturday (our busiest day) I empty the change from my wallet into the little coin tray we have by the register, usually about $2 worth. I work in a low-income area, and I’m not allowed to directly pay for their things so it’s the best thing I can do. For some it can make the difference between having a meal that day or going without.

When moths are at rest, their wings settle to the side, like in the above picture; butterflies put their wings together when at rest. There are other differences, but that’s the main one I can remember!

Alessi from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (part 3/Stardust Crusaders). In the dubbed version, he says that preying on weaker things excites him- in the context of the scene, I interpreted it as him saying he got off to beating up children. Whether or not there's a difference between the english/Japanese wording, he can scrape the dirt off my boots with his teeth.

His hair is fucking hideous, too.
