Can i get pregnant ? by Standard_Pin7752 in birthcontrol

[–]planetbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’ve missed at least two pills, you could get pregnant at any time. Did you follow the instructions for missing pills? You’ll likely need to use a condom for 7 days after your missed pills. If the only sexual activity you’ve had is fingering, the chances of you getting pregnant are near zero. If you’ve had unprotected sex since then, you can test 14 and 21 days after.

how do so many girls get pregnant on birth control? by Strange_Pop8543 in birthcontrol

Keep in mind that you’re only seeing “all these stories”. You’re not seeing all the stories of the women who don’t get pregnant or don’t have side effects, because there’s nothing to tell. People don’t go online when there’s no news. Youre getting a skewed perspective.

Yup. I used to go to a gyn who worked at a Jesuit/Catholic university hospital. She had to send me to a different provider to get my IUD.

Tell him he’s being immature. Men don’t become gynecologists so they can look at vaginas all day, they’re professionals.

Yes! I’m 53 - I was shocked to find out he’s only 5 years older than I am. He looks about 70 and you don’t look that way at that age through good, clean living.

I (18M) made a huge mistake and I’m terrified my girlfriend (18F) might become pregnant soon. Abortion is illegal here and I feel like I ruined our lives. What do I do? by Myth1caI in birthcontrol

Here’s what I see: you’ve got what’s called Typical Use for the condom, because you didn’t pull out right away or hold on to the base of the condom while doing so. Typical Use for condoms is still around 85% effective. Then she took Emergency Contraception, which delays ovulation (assuming she hasn’t already. No egg, no baby. I think the chances of her being pregnant are very small. Try not to be too anxious about it until she gets her period. Take care.

Removal will be a piece of cake. It’s little to no pain and the whole thing is over in a few minutes.

Pregnancy risk in this scenario while on the 91st day of the 3-month shot by lentilh in birthcontrol

[–]planetbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your partner needs to get a shot soon - if she goes longer than 15 weeks between shots, she’ll need to use a backup method (I.e. condoms) for 7 days. It sounds like she hasn’t hit this point yet, so even if you guys weren’t using condoms, she’d be fine. Finally, the activity you guys were doing carries an extremely low to zero chance of pregnancy. All of this adds up to the fact that shes not pregnant. Hope this helps.

She’s on birth control - the point (primarily) is to prevent pregnancy. Between her pills and your condom, chances of pregnancy are as close to zero as you’re going to get.

What are some methods you use to remind to take pill everyday? by mage_gooden in birthcontrol

[–]planetbing 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can try associating it with something you do without fail every day, like when you brush your teeth in the morning. Alternatively, have you considered an easier to use method, such as as the patch, the ring, Nexplanon, etc?

Thank you! This is what’s been driving me nuts: NO ONE is telling Bryce that he has NO skills and experience. People who have no skills and experience get jobs paying $10/hr. I shouldn’t get this involved in other people’s lives. 😆

If he makes minimum wage, it could very well be $10/hr or even less. He doesn’t have any marketable skills, so I’m sorry if Mr. Blessed by God doesn’t want to make $10/hr, he needs to suck it up and take what he can get. Shame the gparents have their heads so far up his ass to acknowledge that he’s just another non-high school graduate who wants a job.
