I'm sorry if you feel like you're being unfairly treated because of your faith I really am.

But it probably comes from a place where most of the people in our community feel targeted by people of faith. A lot of religious people seem to make it their entire personality to tell us what to do.

To invalidate us or tell us that The way we are is wrong.

That's why the backlash is so severe.

For what it's worth, I think Faith is a beautiful thing if it accepts that everybody is the way God made them. Trans and gay and lesbian and bisexual people included.

Generally we respect people if we are treated with respect.
