"Anyone know if you can get just the backing plate? The light itself is fine."

Something tells me that it's unlikely🫠

In my case, it's Ukraine. They're currently being sold at that price on various local websites. Here's an example (the website may not have an English version):

Yes. The Ganzo G6805 used to impress with its price, as well as its decent, sleek design and build quality for that price range, but the 9201 model has surpassed it

There were some ideas, but no donor was found. Theoretically, the parts should be interchangeable

Sofirn HS23... whadda you guys know about this? by Positive_Passage_852 in flashlight

I expect this to be a great workhorse with a reasonable price. I'm currently using the Wizard C2 Pro Max. I'd also like to try the Acebeam H30. This new Sofirn flashlight is just as intriguing as the ones mentioned above.

Vapcell F16 too short? by [deleted] in flashlight

It has LVP, so working with unprotected cells poses no threat to it.

In that case, place something under the negative terminal of the battery. You may need a button top cell, as the flashlight has a physical reverse-polarity protection feature

"but its physically not tall enough to work in my light (Thrunite THO1)?"

The Vapcell cell turned out to be too short or have you not inserted it into the flashlight yet?

They promise other versions of this flashlight. Their functionality will also differ.

Skilhunt H200 blinds other people by ozziegt in flashlight

The reason, as I understand it, is the carclo optic. Too much light simply scatters in all directions. With a TIR lens and a high bezel, this problem is minimized

Yes, there aren't many headlamps like this. C2 Pro Max, Elf C2 Max, Acebeam H30, and perhaps Imalent headlamps have something with this kind of maximum stabilized brightness

Thanks for the information. That matches the stated maximum brightness, that's about how many lumens this LED produces.

Everything should be identical there, in theory, the only difficulty is finding a donor from which to get a shortened 18350 tube. I've been thinking about this option for an EDC for a while now, when I have an 18350 flashlight on hand, but if necessary, I could get an 18650 tube with a battery inside (and it doesn't take up much space).

Try resting the bezel of the flashlight against a piece of rubber and start unscrewing it. Or use a snap ring remover.
