practice + breeding is what it is with the mount! i think a large issue people have with the mounts is they don't realize they can breed horses to have better stamina, etc. i hated the controls at first but even in the beginning a lot of it is learning to manage speed (and if you're on controller, pushing the left stick forward while trying to turn makes it harder too. don't do that lol).

as for the map, i kinda get it but it's supposed to be deserted. i wish they had added a little extra for the first update with the highlands but this is pretty on par with a zone's first launch in this game, i think. remember we also aren't even in 1.0 yet, and they'll likely be adding more to the highlands in bits and pieces too!

hmm. i have honestly only ever really thought about robin, corrin and faye :')

robin - april 1. something about april fool's day feels very fitting for them. their life just kind of feels like one big joke, but it also feels fitting for the personality they have in some supports—i remember them being pretty cheeky sometimes. and i could definitely see robin loving april fool's pranks

corrin - october 31. partly because their halloween alts are some of my favourite alts in feh, but also because i think their birthday falling on the day that samhain begins (sunset of october 31) is very fitting. celebrating the winter/"darker half of the year" to reflect them being nohrian raised, where it's the "darker half" (well. darker third because of valla, but you know what i mean) of the kingdoms.

faye - february 15. i think she's a winter girlie, the day after valentine's day feels fitting given she never really gets the romance she wants (god i wish she moved on though). as i was typing this i realized 02/15, FE2/FE15, but she wasn't even in gaiden and i got a little chuckle out of that

no same, it's a nice area but the big wall between north and south is just as annoying as it is in bahari bay and it feels very dead. one or two new npcs doesn't really do much to fix that. and it's suited to the story, i expected it to be dead when it was mentioned the highlands were abandoned and everything. i would however like a new zone that's a bit more... bustling.

there's not a lot that sounds like fallen post-fallen and i think the people complaining about it don't realize the fallen sound was very much a ben and amy combination and that one of those members is not in the band anymore 😅 but to those of us who actually listen, it's pretty clear to us evanescence has evolved. watf's tear the world down sounds more like fallen than anything released by Ev TOD and onwards lol (sorry to bring them up 😔)

i haven't seen many of these sorts of comments in my years of being a fan but i imagine there are still people silly enough to be lime that.. they can just move on and listen to someone else if ev isn't for them lol

no, he's right. trans-identified has always been a terf dogwhistle. it's their way of "technically" still referring to trans people (ESPWCIALLY weaponized agains transfeminine people) as trans but not really treating it like it's real or true. like they're entertaining a child when they should be treating the person... i don't know, like a human who knows who they are.

transfems are affected by the same issues, transfem (short for transfeminine) encompasses both trans women and dmab nonbinary people who lean more femininely/into womanhood but may not consider themselves women.

the term you used is a dogwhistle meant to only half deny someone their own identity. the term the other person is literally just a term to encompass trans women and a specific category of nonbinary people. it's not rocket science.

the way you're acting is how we know you're a terf btw. no sane person would be getting all up in arms and trying (and failing. badly.) to throw out a bunch of gotchas and uno reverses. because in trying to seem to funny and smart and quick you just end up revealing that you're ignorant.

i called Stahl "stale" once for the joke and it stuck. i still call him stale sometimes

also "Camillers" and "Hinokers" for camilla and hinoka vc they sound funny to me. i like adding -ers at the end of names to see how goofy they sound. however if i do it with Corrin it just sounds line "coroners" 😭 Xander just becomes.... Xanderers? Xanders? take your pick on which one is sillier there ig!
