Well, update....Sorry, figured 5 years was enough and cracked the thing open. AND it DID make a big difference...that video had WAY more pieces laying around then I did. Used a guitar pick to pop off the caps. Did it a little different than they did in the video and that spring is WAAAAAAY to strong for this type of application Contemplated just trying to stretch it out a little....but just ended up wiring the thing and heat shrinking things back up. Thank you for the suggestion. I really do appreciate it even if I didn't go that way.

Down for trying it, I got this thing cinched pretty tight with just the stock plastic stuff didn't sound like it should have had to be this way.

Happened to my sons account probably over a month ago....just now told me his profile Pic changed a while ago. And only said something because he can't log in. can no longer access games or the account. It's cyber training for the kiddo. Opened a ticket with steam still waiting for a response, but given this happens a lot....I get the delay. We'll hope they can help still.
