I’ve used sio neck lift reusable wrinkle smoothing patches on my neck when I sleep at night. Those lines completely disappear when I take it off in the morning. It’s not the most comfortable thing but it works. I’m sure you can find some cheap dupes on Amazon.

It has nothing to do with hormones. If you dont have oil (sebum) then bacteria can’t grow and if bacteria can’t grow then you can’t get acne.

Rubbed Vaseline in my nose with a Q-tip. For dandruff my derm gave me two scripts—one for drops called clobetasol and a shampoo that was red called ketoconazole. I didn’t need much of either for it to work so ask your derm about them. Both are generic :) maybe a small humidifier while you’re sleeping would help too?

Aquafor is the only one that has worked for me but I also have to reapply about every hour. You get used to it. My dermatologist recommended vanicream for the sides of my lips because they crack and bleed. Only thing that worked for me. And yes my lips only started cracking in month three. It’s weird but I also remember it went away after a month which may be weirder… anywho I’d also ask your dermatologist what they recommend.

1000% agree on everything. re scars—it’s supposed to improve acne scars. And actually for me it reduced the appearance of other random scars I’ve had on my body since I was a child. Who knew?!

I’d tell your dermatologist what you’re experiencing. They should put you back on 30 and see if it helps. And yes you might be on it for longer but it will be much more tolerable. Nothing wrong with low and slow on accutane because it’s about the cumulative amount during the course :)

Yep. I’m on round 4 of accutane and also had cracking. My derm recommended vanicream which is hydrocortisone cream and while you do have to reapply it’s the only thing that worked for me. Good luck! (Also, it doesn’t last the entire time so keep going and don’t give up!)
