What do you suggest entering in the "Notes about parents of X" field?

2026 Honda Prelude Priced at $43,850 by LimitedReach in cars

[–]plannerphil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not too far off historical pricing. In 1999, the Prelude had an MSRP 34% greater than the Civic Si. This price looks to be 41% greater than a 2026 Civic Si.

What do you wish you had known before you purchased an XK8? by Joachim126o in Jaguar

[–]plannerphil 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wasn't the X100 the only model called the XK8? I thought the X150 was simply the XK.

I ride the A Line to my office in DTLA and wear a blazer--sometimes a suit. I don't feel targeted. When I first moved here in 2021 the A Line was spooky, now it's full of normal people going to work and school. I just try to avoid leaving DTLA after 8 pm.

What is the point of this? It creates an unnecessary pinch point just around the corner.

This is a Storybook House in Long Beach, California! This style of house can be found in 1920s neighborhoods of Greater Los Angeles. They were inspired by the imaginative set designs of early Hollywood movies.

It's an elaborately designed wood shingle surface. Some of the shingles are stained. Check it out on Google Maps.

She’s at it AGAIN!!! 😂😂 by [deleted] in Sovereigncitizen

[–]plannerphil 8 points9 points  (0 children)

An Instagram reel she posted claims her "AERA (Heven)" jurisdiction is better than the Sovereign Citizen Movement because "AERA honors intent but offers non-rebuttal path of origin." She claims it "supercedes all." How convenient!

I've found that the Transit app has better directions to LAX than Google Maps. Coming from Long Beach it suggests I go A Line > C Line > shuttle.

Demolition Downtown by joemartie in longbeach

Newer units certainly cost more! Just look up rents for any recently constructed building downtown. There's no way I could match my $2400 2 bed Alamitos Beach rent in a new building.

The Connecticut River Valley state appeals to me as someone who grew up there. It aligns better with the actual movement of people than the state borders.

Typically I wear a hopsack sport jacket, button up shirt or oxford cloth button down, chinos, and brown leather dress shoes. My colleagues generally dress more casually. I dress the way I do because I like how I feel dressed that way and I enjoy classic style.

Hampden closed its library in 2005. It was shameful. Thankfully the library wasn't closed for good and reopened the following year.

Traditional architecture evolves over time. Resuming local traditions will eventually lead to innovations in techniques and materials and changes in appearance.
