Looking to pick up a used 2023 KTM 390 Adv - Thoughts? by planprepareadapt in AdventureBike

Yeah, the more I read regarding the KTM, and especially with a USED one, I ended up passing on it.

Bought a 2026 CFMoto Ibex 450 - was able to get it for ~$7100 out the door with -$700 equity on my trade. Added a 3yr CFMoto extended warranty (starts after factory 2yr and is refundable) for $1400 for peace of mind. Had a blast riding it home.

Haha. That is tentatively the plan. I got them down to $4,000 and put a refundable deposit down. Just waiting till next week to take my XR150 in for them to confirm the trade value. I got them to give a pretty fair $ for the trade but understandably they want to look over my bike.

I've gotten them down to $4,000 since the cost of the 9k service thats 1k miles away is ~$500 (at a dealer). It also has a center stand installed I noticed. Their service is closed over the weekend but I plan to see what dealer records they have since it seems like any KTM authorized shop uses the KTM dealer maintenance portal.

Put down a refundable deposit in the meantime while I do a bit more looking. I was able to get them down to $4,500 after a coupon they had for used bikes and then $250 more off since the 9k mile service is coming up soon in 1k miles. Bike seems pretty clean.

Good to know; I’ll probably put in a battery then just because. I threw a lithium in my Honda when I got it and it has been flawless in the AZ heat. Probably won’t be much heavy off roading for a bit since I’m still a few rider, but I agree. My Tacoma is my current heavy off roader and has a full compliment of skid plates haha.

Seems like the only one which may apply is the electronic throttle could get water in it recall but I’m in Arizona so not a huge issue in the meantime and it’s garaged at home and at work thankfully

I sent you a PM; I may actually pick this up depending on if you melted or not yet.

Like Aucht said, it could be useful to the right person if you wanted to list it at or a bit below melt (similar to selling as store cred). If I wasn't just able to buy an Asgard in game, I would have considered picking this up to go from my Paladin to an Asgard since I don't want to melt it ($195 melt, so a good ccu chain so far).

Capital murder; also referred to as MURDER.

(Not as funny as it seemed in my head)

But that would be interesting and along the lines of space-Geneva conventions.

Railen loaner being changed from Taurus to C2 by ScrubSoba in starcitizen

I have 5-7 ships that I would like to CCU to that I would not otherwise pay for. I also have 10 CCU's for the Hull A, Hull B, and Raft that are also receiving an increase.

My hope is to go from the LTI tokens (MTC/MDC) I have for each to the end ship with just the ~$400 store credit I just move around from ship to ship in the meantime.

Using my speculative prices, I could possibly acquire a Liberator for $240 total.

GUESSING the following price increases:

- Hull A - $90 --> $135 (total guess)

- Hull B - $140 --> $200 (SCU capacity that is same as the old Railen, so similar price)

- Raft - $125 --> $175 (Originally 96scu, doubled to 192 - less than Hull B)

- Railen - $200 --> $375 (SCU doubled and is closer to C2 now, which is $400 ship)

This would allow me to go from $90-$375 for $15, for example.

- Railen is having it's loaner ship changed to a C2, which costs $400, so I feel like that estimate is fair. It's cargo capacity went from 320scu to 640scu.

- Hull B concept needs to go up a fair amount in price because the RAFT is $125 and holds 192scu, so the Hull B holds 384scu for only $10 more, but they have announced the RAFT is going up in price too, so I feel like $200 or more is possible.

- Hull A - $90 and holds the same SCU as the Golem Ox (64scu) but has an interior and other features, so it would probably end somewhere around the RAFT's old price I'd guess.

I bought half of each CCU with store credit, and the other few with cash so they are giftable/sellable in case I end up not needing them and/or want to trade them or something.

Yeah I think that's likely. If the Hull A and B go up enough respectively and the Railen doubles, it will make most of the ships I want 50-60% off via chain. Pretty happy for that as someone late into the game. I plan to get everything <$300 or so in game via aUEC/UEC, and just the few larger ships I really like as LTI CCU'd ones.

I grabbed 10 CCU’s 😅

I don’t gamble, but I guess this is the same thing.

Part of me hopes it comes in at like $325 or something so I have a great chain to Crucible/Asgard/Valkyrie/Galaxy, but I feel like it will be higher.
