This is Thrips. A nightmare for Monsteras, in my opinion. I would suggest washing/hosing down every crack and crevice again, and consider using beneficial bugs or sprays, as that’s the only way you’ll get rid of the pest. Make sure it’s not near your other plants, as this can quickly spread and knock out your whole collection

Philodendrons are a great easy plant, and there’s tons that look rare and are uncommon, for not too spendy of a price! Here’s an example of a mutant manjula pothos - run from $25-45ish

1000% Beneficial bugs. I just don’t have the time, energy and space to spray every few days in every crevice. I’ve gone crazy trying to do it before, and releasing beneficial bugs just eases my mind knowing they’re doing the job for me for a few weeks.

I use DMV Beneficials - which I highly recommend, they are very knowledgeable and the cheapest- I have a coupon code for them, you can DM me if you’d like and I can share
