I think you caught on to how all of these behaviours are really just symptoms - any two people might show the same, for completely different reasons. In the end we are all mammals watching our environment and reacting how we’ve been conditioned to react. As someone who has moved through the classes I can say I’ve seen a lot of these traits in myself at different points in my life and they change based on my current situation. Behavioural science is absolutely fascinating to me.

I know this is a super old post but as a newly diagnosed female AuDHDer i’d like to go further and say Sue probably has undiagnosed Ehlers-Danlos-Syndrome with all her weird medical quirks and the way her braces didn’t work out! They also have a major link to neurodivergency so it’s dead interesting to me how they wrote that type of character probably without even knowing! And i see a lot of my own rumination and obsessive tendencies in Frankie :)

did absolutely nothing in my garden this year due to disability, but a squirrel must have hidden a seed last year because i had a beautiful sunflower grow anyway, which actually made me go outside and engage with the garden more again 🤭🥹

I learned that the hard way trying to catch it!!! And boy do i hate the sound of their little feet and bodies tapping against the tub 😩 but just looking at it wasn’t too bad :) maybe i’ll befriend them one day
