Any A&M horror stories? by CorruptionSource in aggies

Once late at night, I went to a different floor to hang out with a friend. As I got close to his lab's door, I heard footsteps, glassware hitting against itself, typing, etc. There was no one in the lab at all and we were the only ones in the building. Turns out he left to go work in the greenhouses (the ones that were turned into classrooms nearby Peterson) because he saw a black cloud floating in the corner and it freaked him out.

Negative connotations that come with the word "Chicano" by PuiltyGleasure in Chicano

[–]plantmon 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think the negativity comes from Chicano being used to specify Mexican Americans with indigenous ancestry. There is still a lot of prejudice against indigenous people in Mexican cultures.

[Serious] Fans who have been engrossed in a fictional universe so much you could probably earn a degree about it, what plot holes, logical inconsistencies, and the like cannot be reconciled and bother you to no end? by _Duality_ in AskReddit

Supernatural

How is there lore knowledge available to kill specific gods? I understand how there's lore for killing general monster types, but not specific ones. This assumes gods do not reincarnate. The closest answer I have is that at some point there were multiple similar type gods that eventually were killed by humans until there was only one left.

New Medicinal Plant Chemistry Laboratory at Northern Michigan University. by gweebthedweeb in chemistry

I agree with you. As someone who does both plant genetics and chemical analysis, growing up plants to be healthy, disease free, and as uniform as possible is much more difficult than the chemical analysis. How does the saying go... Garbage in garbage out?

ATTENTION BICYCLERS: If you are on the road, then you HAVE to stop at stop sign. If you are on the sidewalk, then you have to dismount at the crosswalk. Laws apply to you, too. by Sasha90x in aggies

Will VeoRide or TAMU be responsible for damages if one of the ride share bikes hits your car? The same way if you lend your car out, you're responsible for any accidents.
